Well worth a knock.
I played this course with two friends with handicaps of 10,15 and 20.
The course was is very good condition and the greens fast and true.
A very good challenge.
A parkland course with plenty of width and not too much trouble finding your ball.
We were able to secure buggies and as we play on a very hot day with good distances between green and tee this helped enormously.
Our ages all over 60 and I would describe as fit.
We decided to have breakfast at the club before our round and a meal afterwards. Very good value and good quality.
No doubt we shall return

Excellent conditions
Course is in excellent condition, greens were great and new updated hole information boards at each tee since the last time I played here. There is no Pro shop at the present time or at least it wasn’t open when I was there at 12:30 (apparently the old head Pro has left, so maybe that is the reasoning why it’s closed), so had to go into the clubhouse bar to check in and get a drink and snack pre round which definitely wasn’t an issue. Hopefully the get another Pro in the not so distant future as the shop previously had loads of selection.
Lovely coarse in excellent condition staff very friendly could do with better directions also pro shop not open did not know where to book in overall really good round
Got to stars somewhere
Only my second 18 holes, played Llantrisant last week. For beginners I would recommend the grove 1st. Over Llantrisant but Llantrisant is a prettier course. Will definitely be coming back.
Great Fairways!
Must have been fresh cut but the fairways were excellent. Really good course. Greens firm. Good value
One of the best value courses in the area.
As an intermediate golfer from South Wales I’d say this is the best conditioned course I’ve played this year. Amazing value for money, immaculate greens and very clean fairways. Well signed and some very tough holes. Will be revisiting.
Very dissapointed arrived 40 minutes before tee off time to be told the course was closed due to the weather over the last couple of days
December 6th 2023
First time playing this course. I must admit, considering it was middle of December, the course was in fantastic condition, no standing water anywhere, quick greens and we’ll maintained fairways and rough areas.
The 4th, 5th and 6th were closed which was a bit of a shame as the front 9 is definitely the highlight for me.
There wasn’t the usual plastic winter tee on site which was great as we all know they’re a pain!
Absolutely loved playing here. Will definitely be coming back again. I imagine in the summer this course is terrific.

Both the staff & members were friendly. Course was reduced to 15 holes due to waterlogging on 3 holes but this was reflected in the price. The 15 we played were in great condition considering the recent weather. The compressed air lines & water to clean equipment after the round were the best I've come across in South Wales. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic staff friendly and welcoming very good golf course in great condition with a great mix of holes greens in excellent condition bunkers we're very tricky. food excellent will recommend course to family and friends and will defo play again
