Having only played the course over 20 years ago and not remembering the layout it enjoyed the course.

Nice to play in December with no mud on your ball trousers or shoes.

We even played the ball as it laid no need to pick and clean.

The pro Rhys was so accommodating and we are playing it again on Monday.

I can’t praise this club enough, the price to start with was £10.50 per golfer. Now this is a cheap round, you’d expect some rough around the edges and maybe some dodgy winter greens for this time of year. Think again.. greens were pure and quick, turf was a joy to hit off, fantastic links feeling turf. I could hit irons all day of the stuff, compressed sounding strikes, no fat sounding muddy hits. I would have been happy paying £40/£50 for my round. Had no one in front and a two ball behind, pace of play was perfect. Get down there while you can for this price, it can’t last..

I played the course in November in 40 MPH winds BBC and found it in forgiving. On a fine windless day it would be beautiful.

A risk this time of year with the weather, but the course was excellent, nice welcome @ pro shop.

Must be 20 years since I played here. In that time they’ve added two new holes (8 and 9) which are both super holes. 8 has a superb green complex whilst 9 has wonderful views, a challenging drive and a tough second too. These two help the balance of the course as for me the past layout meant a really strong start (3 of the opening four are outstanding) and then it didn’t quite reach the same heights. Excellent condition, beautiful greens and wonderfully attractive riveted bunkers. A proper links test and one you should definitely play!

Course on day played was extremely dry and fast. Many fairways out of site from tee so had to rely on marker posts. This meant couldn’t see ball land and undulations of the fairway led to not always knowing how far to look for the final ball position. Judging distance also tricky as ball bounded from front of green to back and beyond.

I would have benefitted immensely from playing with someone who knows the course.

Very friendly staff in the clubhouse made me most welcome.

Challenging course but really enjoyed. Friendly helpful staff and etiquette on course was second to none. Can’t wait to play it again

Proper links golf challenge and well worth playing.

A holiday one-off but if I play it again would go with a buggy (often long walks between holes and lots of ups and downs). And also get a course guide - lots of blind shots and by no means clear where to aim! But a great test and highly recommended.

Challenging, interesting, great views and true greens! I will be coming back again for sure!!

Great round of golf, played late afternoon no one in front to slow us down and no one behind pushing, millionaire’s golf, The golf professional was friendly and the lady behind the bar after was fun, will go back stunning views from the course
