Challenging but fun course

4star for pace of play due to playing behind members playing off white tees on a windy day . However grateful for round of golf in the current pandemic . Green staff have worked hard to provide a fantastic looking course

Fantastic day of golf

For our level of golf and playing for the first time it was a real challenge of a golf course. We all thoroughly enjoyed the challenged and loved the style, condition, layout of the course. We lost a load of balls tho !

The staff, other golfers were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Glad we got buggies for the round :-)

A lovely setting for a really worthwhile course to play

Great links coarse

The weather helped.. Sunny Tenby in October. First 3 holes were challenging .. lots of hidden greens behind steep hills, greens were perfect. And the views on the back nine are stunning... some really tough holes too. 15 ,16,17 holes were off the beaten track and a walk to get too, which after the long coarse was tiring.. all in all had a great day. Golf shop was good too. , will def be back

What a shame!

Amazing scenery and the layout is 2nd to none off the whites. Big hitters beware fairways are tight (tighter than it looks on the course planner) easy to run out of room and the rough is deceptively lush in places balls are easily lost. What a shame about those greens they looked so good from a distance, they were in very poor condition might as well have used my driver absolute pot luck to get the ball in the hole. But maybe my fault for visiting to early in the year Definitely a course for the summer!! Will go back asap re-review it.

A True Links Gem, shame about the greens

Tenby Links is a marvelous course and a true test of links golf, the fairways

were so undulating it was more like a mogul field from a ski slope, than a fairway and despite

recent heavy rains were springy and dry (for the most part)if your drive was unlucky enough to

find the wrong side of the fairway and roll into a hollow, you will find that a lot of your

approaches will be blind to small greens.

the opening holes are very tough, with the worst being the 405 yard par 4 4th, where the drive

is over a crest and the approach is blind to a green that is significantly below the level of the

fairway, making club selection very tough.

the views over Tenby and the west of Carmarthen bay are spectacular and i'm sure if the wind blows

you can lose a lot of balls here!

the staff are friendly and the guy in the pro-shop knows his stuff. there is a three hole short game

area and a range to warm up before your round but the range is short and set on a hill, the range balls

are cheap.

unfortunately i have to mark the course down for the AWFUL greens! a local member told me how they

have struggled with disease since the floods of a couple of years ago and they had just been spiked

and seeded. the greens are so patchy, bumpy and covered in seeds, you just can't put on them.

Walked

Tenby

We played Tenby on a very still day.

Nevertheless the fairways were still difficult to hit.

The course is very tight and challenging and on a windy day would be very challenging indeed!!

The Greens, Tee boxes and fairways were in very good condition and some of the views were exhilarating.

Incredible value added to a warm welcome and excellent food made it a very enjoyable visit for a group of 8 friends who travel to a new course every month.

Great but challenging course

Amazing historic links course lived up to expectations but not for the faint hearted, lots of blind shots and tight fairways with usually unplayable deep rough.
Overall a great day out and good value with golfnow. Tenby town highly recommended too and Lyndale house warren street a great location for a golfers trip.
