Patriot Hills Golf Club

This course is my favorite place in Rockland County. It is always in good shape and the course is so picturesque. During COVID they have been doing a phenomenal job spacing out the groups and the pace of play was excellent because of it. The course can be penalizing however most holes are forgiving with wide fairways. Keep it in play and you can score well here!

I play this course 4-5x a year & Always look forward to it, even the drive up

Only a 30-40 minute drive out of the city but when you arrive you feel the serenity of the area, 2 different worlds 30 miles apart.

Everyone at the course is always very friendly and polite & professional

Course is in very good shape , from tee box to greens.

I always recommend people to play this course and always get a thank you for the recommendation after they play it. It never disappoints.

For the amount of money and time spent getting to this course, I definitely didn’t expect to enter into what looked like a scene from American Horror Story with abandoned buildings up on a mountain.

The lack of any amenities including a restroom upon arrival is a joke. Range is off mats. Pro shop is still “through a window Only” with no one working the window.... Zero food or drink available until you get to the tenth hole where there is a porta potty and vending machine with Costco’s finest snacks.

This whole property could be fantastic with more investment into the course, club house and buildings surrounding. Until then, not going back. Snap your photo content and call

Fun course, has Elements of (The Garrison/Hudson Hills) ... except fairways and Greens are bigger and it’s a lot easier to find a ball lol... if you know.. you know. Didn’t score well, but it was just challenging enough for me to want to play again. Views are awesome you’re basically on a Mountain, really enjoyed my play here... oh and the pace was perfect!!

Great views. One of the best public courses in the area. Reasonably tough course but very playable.

Played the course on a Friday afternoon, so recognize its a busy time to play. Beautiful scenery, course in fine shape this time of year....but its was painfully, painfully slow. Just inconsiderate players, not playing ready golf, spending forever looking for balls, oblivious to the pace of play. I'm not sure if the squeezed extra players in, as they have more time in between tee times than other courses, but it was bad. We spoke a Ranger, 2x, nice kid about the group ahead of us who said he'd speak to them. Nothing changed. Great value, lovely course...would recommend it at off-peak perhaps....otherwise know what you're getting into.

The only course I prefer is Bethpage Black and that’s only because it’s Bethpage Black.

Every hole is a vision. The only holes that were only 10 out of 10 were the par 3’s!!

Amazing design and beautiful scenery. Only knock is folks need to fix their divots on the green. Very well maintained and staff was great. Feels and plays like a private course

Beautiful! Yes it’s hilly, but The view of the holes are spectacular!

Patriot Hills signature features include elevated tee boxes and winding narrow golf holes. The course routing through steep mountainous terrain and a dilapidated mental institution provide a setting that is serene and creepy.

This beautiful course is nested in a mountain. With incredibly challenging layout, tough greens you can score well with accuracy but shots that awry will punish you severely. The views help the pain of the bad shots though.

no drinks no food no indoor restrooms, not worth the price.

This course plays up and down the hillsides. Greens are fast but very fair and roll true. There are times your play will be something short of driver off the tees, even on a longer hole. Fairway lies are generally good and the tee boxes are in good condition. Last hole is a good place for a close match to be decided.

The staff at this course are very personable and even the conversations with clubhouse andstarter personnel are enjoyable. Nice guys all.

Definitely worth playing.
