Tucked away in the Ramapo Mountains on a perch overlooking the Hudson, Patriot Hills Golf Club in Stony Point feels far but it’s conveniently only an hour’s drive from the city. The golf course tumbles across dramatically rolling hills, providing views that span the Hudson Valley. Don’t let the 6,485 yards on the scorecard fool you, the daunting elevation changes make the course feel much longer. Walkers should be forewarned that this mountainous golf course is nearly impossible on foot. You can expect a few approaches to uphill greens but more often you’ll be faced with intimidating shots from elevated tees, which loom more than 200 feet above the severely contoured fairways below. The Patriot Hills layout is a formidable test but players of any skill level can appreciate the meticulous care that went into crafting each hole.

Great Shape
Patriot Hills does it again. The course was In great shape. The greens were rolling smooth. The pace of play was under 4 hours.
Don't Walk this Course!
A beautiful golf course with spectacular views of the Hudson River and mountain highlands. Very challenging, but fair.
Very hilly climbs and long distances between holes. Use a cart!

Great course, very challenging with the elevation changes but I thought the place was amazing. Would highly recommend. Also bring cash because only vending machines are open

Course was a lot of fun. Great condition. Would have been 6 out of 5 stars if they were able to make drinks, food and sell beers. Hopefully in the next few weeks
The Judge
We got out as a 2- ball with no one in front of us, great pace because the 2 ball behind us were always a ways back, course is on one of the best I have played in along time, from t box to green it was in fantastic condition, well worth playing. I’m going back with a few 4 balls from our club ASAP
Excellent GOLF course
This course makes you play most of your clubs, you have to play smart golf to post a good score. Excellent condition.

Nice course, played for 50. and just barely got in 18.
I’m not sure it’s worth the 125. to play in the morning.
Elevated tee boxes can become redundant and the par 3s are lack lustre, but it’s a fun track with a premium on not being in the trees. The condition of this course is very good.
