Fairwood Park Golf Club

I played here last year when I first started golf and have returned this year. The course was in magnificent condition, the fairways and tee boxes were well groomed to perfection, better than some greens.

I only managed 14 holes as the heat was stifling being the hottest day of the year.

Friendly staff in the well stocked shop.

Ample parking and clean changing rooms.

The pro in the shop was very friendly and helpful as were the members I met whilst playing. The practice green and driving nets were decent and the course from tee boxes to the greens all were in perfect order, even the rough amongst the tree lined fairways is mown reasonably short which helps to keep those wayward shots in play. The bunkers which I was fortunate to avoid were well raked with plenty of sand. Clearly a very well cared for course that was a pleasure to play on today.

Course is quite demanding with lots of traps.

Played this course for the first time and a real challenge plenty of bunkers.course is in great condition greens are fantastic.nice chipping green and putting green for practice and staff and members were nice.payed 37 quid for a round which is reasonable at this time of year can't fault anything there tbh would definatly play there again.

This is a little gem amongst the expensive courses on Gower and locally. Course was in great condition, greens were nicely cut and ran true, fairways were lush and no bare patches and tee boxes in very good condition. There are a lot of very interesting and challenging holes and none are easy. I will definitely return as it's a change from a links and others in the area and great value for money.

First time playing at this course, but having said that I’ve only played for a few months. The staff Chris was so helpful and welcoming. I played with my son who’s only played a handful of times, so we’re not the fastest. However spending this warm sunny day at this golf course with my son created a moment of realisation for me. This is a day where amazing memories were made for me and my son !

Some lovely looking holes and some challenging - definitely worth a visit

Was welcomed warmly by the golf pro in the shop, as it was the first time I played the course was given directions on where to go, corse was in great condition and tee boxes were well sign posted, only down fall was the pace of play as the 4 ball in front of me had 4 chances to call me through to help with pace of play, but will definitely return to Fairwood soon

Fairwood park golf course on Gower is a excellent park's golf course, and superb value for money.

Playing this course is very enjoyable.
