Golf

Not good if you’re a beginner.constantly being rushed by one of the workers following us around telling us to leave people past also saying that the golfers behind us are good and we are stoping people from having fun because we are abit slow.spoiled the game for us because we had to rush our shots all the time👎🏻

So scenic

This course is a little gem and having played most of the courses in the Swansea area in the last month the best.

It’s so scenic and each hole is different and enjoyable to play.

Had a meal after the round cooked by the new Portuguese cook which was fantastic and very reasonable

Would highly recommend

Good experience

Lovely scenery around the course, decent condition. Staff and people on the course were very friendly and liked a little laugh. Came from The Rhondda and was very impressed will travel again to play, good experience all in.

Gower golf club

A stunning course, bit long and hilly but an outstanding course. We're a bit rushed by golfers behind that had buggies whereas we were walking the course.

Highly underrated.

Stunning views over the surrounding countryside. I had a Beautiful day for it. With the weather on my side it was fantastic. Course is a good mix of challenging 4’s and some gettable ones. £25 green fees is underselling this course. The greens are not immaculate but more than playable. The rest of the course is really pretty. And not to be passed up at this price!

Great value

This was my first time of playing the course, it has great views of the area and a good mixture of views with a touch of parkland atmosphere. The fairways were very good and the greens excellent, it’s fair to say some of the bunkers looked tired and in need of work. Would I play there again yes and I would be happy to recommend it to others as great value for money.

The lack of directional signs was frustrating. It's a long course but very enjoyable.

Great winter course

As it was February the round was played on the winter course layout, which was a joy to play with interesting and varied holes. Recent heavy rains didn’t affect the ground too much, the Greens were generally in very good condition. Signage from hole to hole was good and having the winter course map printed on the card was great backup also. Green fees were £20 midweek which represented decent value on a well maintained and cared for course with stunning views across the north Gower and estuary beyond especially on the early holes. Look forward to my next visit.

Gower golf club

Played a few times over the last couple of years and while the views are beautiful and the course layout is challenging, it could use better maintenance. Some of the greens and fairways were in poor condition, which made the game a bit frustrating.

Another downside is the attitude of some of the members. I’ve had a few run-ins with rude players, which made the experience less enjoyable. The course has great potential, but it’s held back by maintenance issues and unfriendly members. If you’re just looking for nice views, it’s worth a visit, but there are better-maintained courses nearby.

Great Course but Painfully Slow

No complaints about the course layout. All holes were great and I will definitely be back. Very disappointed with the 1 group that was holding a number of groups and myself up from the 7th tee. Not once did they offer to let anyone play through and my 18 holes, alone, started with the first 6 taking me 45 mins and the full 18 ending up at 3h40. Crazy!

Travelled a hour and half to play this course and pre paid on the golf now app only for me to arrive there’s a USGA junior tournament taken place, was meant to tee off at 12:40 however didn’t end up teeing off until 1:30, played the first hole which took 55 minutes as I was stuck behind the last group , decided to walk in after the first hole and ask for a refund or something else to compensate for there incompetence in the timing of booking as they should of closed the first hole for a hour after the last tee off in the junior group , went in the pro shop and was told they can’t do anything and not our problem , absolute joke
