Morriston Golf Club

Went back to play Morriston for the first time in a while yesterday. Not impressed at all. They have changed all the layout and it’s so confusing. Tee boxes everywhere and so close together you don’t know which hole is which and what direction your meant to be playing in.Still using winter mats. Daisy’s all over the “fairway’s” i All holes not in play and more sand on the greens than in the bunkers. Nobody in the pro shop before 12 either. It was only £16 but still feels like poor value for money unfortunately.

What a great course and the friendliness of the staff is amazing. Booking to go again next week!

£14 for 18 holes on a really nice course is exceptional value for money. Greens were also superb. We will be back.

After such a dry summer it was lovely to play on a lush green course from tee to green on all 18 holes! We thoroughly enjoyed! We decided to have a bite to eat afterwards in the clubhouse and are so glad we did as it was fab! Great portion sizes and we were full afterwards!!! People were very friendly and thanked us for visiting. Thank you Morriston we will be back x

Nice layout of the course. Lots of elevation change with the odd tight fairway. Plenty of tree lined fairways. Despite the rain overnight and intermittent rain on the day of play the course and greens were in fantastic condition. Will definitely be coming back.

Course is in great nick, the green keepers have done a fantastic job. Having not played there for a couple of years I must say I was very impressed with its condition now compared to the last time I played.

This is the best course in south wales for value for money, outstanding , how people can pay the money they pay around s.wales for the money they are paying is beyond me, great course great staff

Great course, Great value for money, friendly welcome and food in bar was outstanding

Course has a lot of par 3s

And is still very wet in places

But still a very enjoyable course for the price

No pro at the club and shop was closed but managed to get drinks for the round off the management which was good.

Members very welcoming would deffo play again

Course is in transition I think with changes to the hole layout, greens to long, too many trees have fallen down and not been dealt with, bit scruffy if I’m honest. Rough to long, causing slow play looking for balls. Excellent value for money ( £13 ) on a Golf Now discount.

Very hilly but lovely to play, Greens in great condition would play again
