Course condition.
Being in winter condition, the grass was not what I am used to, but at least it is great to be ab[e to play.
Unfair to Review at this Time
Best Municipal course in the South. This is not a good time to review this course because of the major renovation it is going through at this time. The renovation will be finished i a couple of months. But, in order to continue operations, they are closing 9 of the 36 holes causing a significant backup in course play. By late spring the reno will be complete and the course will return to being the best around. for the price.
Long, wide fairways. Could use some TLC. Gets a lot of play / 2 18-hole courses. Seems like they are short on help maybe
Fair conditions
Back 9 was closed so had to play front twice but there was no starter to manage the fiasco at the 1st tee. Greens ok, fairways below average.
Challenge
Enjoyed a beautiful day on the course.
Greens faster than they look.
Took around 4 hours.
Nice course for a municipal course
Course was well maintained, especially for a muni. Pace of play was ridiculously slow. We teed off 20 minutes past our tee time and took over 2.5 hours to finish first 9. Only finished 15 holes due to darkness. There were multiple pairs that should have been combined Ed I to foursomes and tee times were clearly stacked way too close together.

Staff was professional, knowledgeable and goes that little extra in customer service.

Staff was very friendly….. greens in great shape for winter golf
Decent course
This course is a good value for January play on a public course. Not many deals out there for snowbirds this year but the Oaks fills the bill.
Course was normal as usual.
Course was about the same as ever year in January. Pace was 4:15 minutes. Course attracts a wide range of skill levels. No Kellys Plantation but worth it for $35.

Outstanding staff, overall course condition excellent. Direction to next T could be better on the later holes on Pine.
Slow play !!
I enjoy this course but I do not like the course allows groups of 5 when the course is so busy this has been the case the last three times I play, will not happen again will not be back
