Best course conditions yet
We were scheduled to play the Pines course, but were moved to the Oaks. It was in spectacular condition from tee through the greens. Have played several courses in the area and so far this has been by far the best. Had not played here in a couple years, but we will be back.
Hidden Gem
Honestly. Fantastic golf course. Friendly staff. Pace of play was great. Course conditions were great. And the price was great too.
Value for your money
Played the Pines and except for a few irrigation breaks the course was in pretty good shape. Pace of play was good and I paired up with 3 very nice gentlemen. Good value for your money for a municipal course. Greens were fine and fairways and tees hag plenty of grass
Best value in the panhandle
Course was in really nice shape - no fancy gps golf carts or clubhouse - but 1/5 the price of several resort courses nearby. My son and I enjoyed it. Staff was also very friendly.
A little bit out of the way - but It’s your money.
Sorry - bad experience at Regatta this week.
, Air Force is so wonderful staff is good for the money you can't beat it
We played there a lot for the three months that were down there in the beginning of the year and then we come down usually this time of the year for a month. That's the best place to play for the money people are friendly and most of the time Pacer players excellent
Good municipal course
We were on vacation, played the Pines 18 on recommendation from manager. Got a good rate on a website & prices much better than your resort courses in the area. Course had better reviews than other comparable like courses. Nothing plush, greens were thin & sandy. Older course with some good holes. Would go back but may try some of the other courses for comparison.
Lady Day
We play here somewhat regularly. Our round was 5 hours yesterday. Course attendant told us it was lady’s day and they are very slow. 5 hours may be excessive!
Not bad for a municipal course
Good course, little slow, overall better than most local courses (Shalimar Point, Hidden Creek, Tiger Point, Elgin, Seascape, and Scenic Hills)…would recommend avoiding those and head for Fiet Walton….
Improved
Have not played pines for some time. Wife and I enjoyed it. Good shape, not great. Good value for your money
Recently declining
Condition of course much better earlier in the season. Bunkers .. bogey
Outside of fairways. . Double bogey
Piece of play... Quadruple bogey (put us behind a group of five !!!!)
Condition of course has declined over last several months... Still playable but noticeably declining
