Home of the 5hr round
Conditions never great by any stretch. Staff...Meh :| Proshop guys no matter who’s in there always seem to be on a pedistool towards us mere mortal golfers lol. Doesn’t matter though. They enjoy a monopoly as far as golf in ft Walton goes. It has always baffled my mind though as to were the money goes?? They are always packed year around and by no means is next to $40 for an afternoon tee time for a track like the muni cheap!! Again though with next to no competition these things can be achieved. But if the money doesn’t go into the course it should at least free up a Marshall position. Greens: slow. Tee boxes: need love. Rough areas: hard pan. Fairways: mown weeds. Besides that it’s a playable golf course in ft Walton.

Really a great course for the money. We’ll play again for sure.
Fun and open
I played the pines course. I loved how open the course is which allows your to go for it. There were a couple challenging holes but for the most part it's a fairly easy course. I really enjoyed it. Even in the winter the course was in good shape. I will be back.
Fun course
Enjoyed this course. Very flat except for a few water holes. Challenging in length, but fairways are wide and well kept. Pace of play excellent considering it was Thanksgiving weekend. Greens were a bit slow this day but it had rained the prior evening. Family outing with grandchildren
Great bargain, not too crowded
Great bargain for the money. First time playing the Pines course after playing oaks two weeks ago. Greens in good shape, nice and smooth. Nice open layout, friendly staff, not a lot of water like many other local more expensive courses.
Staff are very friendly
The only bad thing was 6 guys were playing together which slowed dow play a lot!
Great deal!
I scheduled a twilight tee time and showed up 45 minutes early and was able to play right away. Played a whole wrong alone and never saw a person in front of me or behind me. Greens were in excellent condition. Will definitely be back!
