Not a Bad Value
It’s a course that once upon a time was a very good track. It is not in very good condition currently and the greens are slower than most fairways. That said, for $30, I can’t complain.
If I was wanting to play another quick inexpensive round I would do it again. Played in approx 3 hours.
Great courses!
Two very good municipal courses: The Oaks and The Pines. Played the Pines course this time...much more open and forgiving. Both will be in better shape when the grass returns!
Disappointing
ThIs course (the Pines)was never great but ok to play once in a while now its gone down even more we wont be going back..
Fun and challenging
There was a downpour of rain an hour before we were to tee off. Still sprinkling the first few holes we played. Still - the Pines Course was puddle free, and we had a great round of golf. The employees in the cashier office were outstanding!
Ft Walton Golf Course
I attempted to cancel our T time on Jan 29/20 When I spoke to the men at the course , they initially gave me a phone number at Golf Now , which was not the right one to cancel . No Cancellation are now done by phone .I was directed to make my cancellation request by computer. I was unable to use my computer at the time so I was out of luck .
I find this policy is not in the best interest of your customers , so I am not willing to use your company again. I have been a customer of Golf Now for a few years , but I am not happy with the way I was treated , so I will not be back.
The weather was very bad with high winds , driving rain and cold . The local weather station will confirm this .
There is an old saying which applies here " fool me once sham on you fool me twice shame on me .
Nice layout but course needs greening
We played the Pines for our first time. The course is interesting layout but very dry. Greens are slower than most. Maybe after some rain it will improve
the course is fun
The course is in good shape for January. Very windy still had a great time.
Nice as any Country Club you’ll play
Outstanding Proshop folks! Best municipal course you’ll find. All areas of course well maintained. The beauty of this course was unexpected.
Great course.
This was our first game for the winter season. The course is in great condition . Great value. We plan on golfing there again.

We’ve played this course in previous years and wasn’t all that impressed with the greens but today the whole course was in great shape. The greens keeper and staff have done a marvellous job. Keep it up!
Challenging and beautiful
Excellent course conditions. The greens are firm and pretty fast this time of the year. The weather was perfect, plenty of sunshine and temps in the mid 60's. Perfect golfing weather in my opinion. The pace of play was very good, only took 75 minutes on the front nine. The view of the 17th tee on the Pines Course is spectacular.
