About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Greens in Bad Shape
The greens were like putting in the fairway, very slow and bumpy. Fairways had many dry areas that had no grass.
Amazing!
I played the course on 6/10/24 and 6/11/24. I must say I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect. From the beginning the Pro Shop was great, the course was in very above average conditions for the time of year in the desert. The water and ice machines were essential and spaced throughout the course. The refreshing watermelon scented cold towels were amazing. The outside services team were beyond friendly and accommodating. Huge thank you to all the staff there making the entire experience wonderful! I will be back!
Good experience
Course is in really good shape. Everything about it was in good shape. There is a little bit of country club snobbery....but that can be ignored.

Disappointed that the restaurant is still not open. Was not open last year when we played as well.

Doesn’t monitor pace of play. Members play by their own rules.

You can count on great course conditions and a very friendly staff at Corte Bella. Play was a bit slow, but winter golf in AZ can be like that unfortunately. Looking forward the next chance to come play.
