Corte Bella Golf Club

Ran into an inevitable frost delay with an early tee time. The outside attendants were incredibly helpful and organized. They managed the delay well and even took down phone numbers to text golfers when play could resume. Despite the delay, pace of play was great with little to no waiting throughout the course. Course conditions were awesome. Hard to find value for Arizona golf in December — Corte Bella was far and away the best combination of a well-maintained, fun course at a reasonable price. Will return for sure!

The course was in good shape, except the fairway bunkers were just dirt.

The course was in great shape. The pro shop staff was friendly. Pace of play was very good even though the course was full. Had a very nice young man clean our clubs and carry the bags to the car afterwards. Have definitely paid more and gotten less at other clubs. Very good experience!

Weather was perfect for our twosome as we found a good price for Corte Bella. Tee time was 1:00 PM. We might have been able to finish the round if we had started a smidge later, but not much. However, that is simply because the day was overcast and getting dark at 5:00 - 5:30. We occasionally waited for the group in front of us on the front nine, but it was clear sailing on the back nine. Course was in very good shape. Fairways were in excellent condition. Greens were well manicured, but a bit on the slow side. The course layout is traditional with greens well protected from slightly off-target shots. Sand was in good shape, not caliche traps that is often found in the valley. All-in-all a very good course.

Cartpath only because of overseeding. Greens were painfully slow but give it a couple weeks. Fairway a little 5ick due to overseeding. I’ve played this course before when conditions were fantastic.

The only negative was no beverage cart. As far as the course, The fairway bunkers were dirt. I believe they must have plans to get some sane in them. Great layout and the course will be great in about 3 weeks after the oversees. Fantastic staff all around.

Cart path only until 11/7 would have been nice to know ahead of time but course conditions were spectacular and price is very fair.

The course was getting ready for reseeding and they were working on a few traps, which do not interfere with the round at all. This course is a 5 normally, after the maintenence being done now.

Absolutely the best staff I have encountered in this region.

Slow pace today at 8am. Course is getting ready for overseed so the condition was dry. Rough was too long for some in the group. Bunkers are getting redone and are in really bad shape. Charged near full price for an ok course.

This is a very challenging but fun course. The greens were good, the fairways were decent, the bunkers had no sand and the fringe was not in great shape. I think they were working on re-sanding the bunkers though.

Staff was friendly and the course was beautiful. Go, you’ll have fun. 4-some in front was a bit slow, but it’s semi-private so you’re gonna run into some members who play comfortably. If I’m being super picky, greens were a touch on the fluffy side, but just meant you could be that much more aggressive with some putts.
