Corte Bella Golf Club

Course was in pretty poor shape. Some bare spots and watered very heavily. Even the sand traps were watered. Greens bumpy and still showing aereation marks which was not listed on Golf Now by the course. Greens would be extremely challenging if they had been in good shape. Want to go back and play for the challenge the greens present. Wide, wide, wide open t shots which I loved. Course needs to heal.

Fairways a little dry and a couple of weeks since greens were punched but be realistic beginning of August in phoenix what would you expect. Other than that course was in good shape and staff was friendly as always.

It's your typical Sun city golf course. There are some nice holes and the course was in Ok condition. Could be better. Like all Country clubs, probably losing money. It's not too difficult and you need to make your shots and putt the greens. The greens were nice.

Not too hard, not too easy. Very nice course which was well maintained. Would definitle play here again.

This is my fourth round here its challengingcourse they told me 18th fairway was a llittle roughbut iI thought it was fine. The greens were perfect!

Corte Bella is a great layout and is in excellent condition for the middle of July in the desert. This is one of those courses that rewards accurate drives with clean straight forward shots to the greens. If your are having an off day off the tee, you are hitting over traps all day to get to the greens. Too bad there is not more shade around the tee boxes!! This is a semi private course and I am very thankful to the members to let us play there occasionally!!
There were two staff concerns that bothered me. 1st, we booked a threesome @ $35.00/ea. The following day, we found a forth to join us. Went on to golfnow and the 1 remaining spot was available, this time for $30.00. Booked!! We arrived and took care of the threesome. Our forth arrived about 15 min later. Found out today(Monday), Tyson in the pro shop charged $35.00 instead of $30.00. Its only $5.00 but we were quoted 30. Bothersome!! The second issue was the marshal hiding behind trees, looking through binoculars to enforce the tucked in shirt policy. We were ok but saw him checking on the group behind us. Man up!! These issues will not keep me from coming back!! this is a good test of golf!!

Clubhouse opened at 6:00 am making warming-up for an early tee time a little "tight". Fairways were in nice shape but the greens still were healing from aerification.

Very nice, but a little slow play. Weather was hot so did not like waiting! Would love to play it again'

I played in 110 degree heat, which was to my choosing. The course provided the ice and water to keep me cool and hydrated and with the addition of the wash clothes in ice water, I never got too hot. The golf course is in great shape. All the fairways were manicured and the greens nice and soft. Great layout with water and sand enhancing the degree of difficulty on a number of holes.

I have driven by this course many times and thought it would be wonderful to play. When the opportunity arose, I did. It is a beautiful course, and alot of fun to play. Enjoyed playing off the differant tees.

I thought the course was in great condition, the pace of play and staff were great. Lots of ice and water, clean on course facilities. We had a fun day.

I was blown away by the condition of this course. There was 3 spots on the whole course that were not perfect grass. All 3 of them were marked as ground under repair. Most courses are not even this good in the winter. at $25 after 10 am, this is a steal to play. I would have been very happy at 2 times the price with those conditions. The greens rolled true and I was shocked at how well they held on a 109deg afternoon.

The staff was amazing and so accommodating. They treat everyone like they are a member. I wanted a sandwich at the turn. They did not have any pre-made, so they brought it out to me once it was done. Amazing service. I am playing this course again on Thursday and will play a few more times this summer.

Great course, In good condition. Staff was friendly. Course did offer some long holes from the Regular tees. Had to hit quality shots to make it to the green in regulation. Greens were smooth. If you hit your line no surprising bumps. Good overall experience.

Good course a lot of sand. Greens could have been in better condition.

First time playing here..had bad experiences in the past trying to call to make a tee time. people were so rude it was ridiculous ..so waited a couple years happen to get a good price thought I would try it and it was a pleasant experience. the front desk people in the pro shop really nice ..to people Who collected the bag outside and got your cart was really nice..enjoyed the layout of the course and it was in decent shape for this time of year. has an abundance of bunkers.. But overall enjoyed the course.

Course was in great shape. Can't wait to play again

We weren't told where the pin location was and just told to go out and start any time we wanted. Could have been a little more friendly.

But there was no alert that the greens had just been punched. Still had a great time, the staff was awesome. Will be back soon

greens were very poor. airrated and very sandy and no icon to let you know. very bumby. i usally call courses to ask the conditions and i didn't this time. I like this course, but very dissapointed.

Course played fast as few players were out on a summer morning, and the greens had just been aerated. Putting was very difficult, but the course was in good shape overall.
