About
The course at Corte Bella Golf Club was done in a desert style but avoids the target greens and forced carries that are at some desert courses in the area. It has a classic layout on a beautiful terrain of ficus, Italian cypress, and oleander, creating a scenic ambiance. The designer, Greg Nash, kept traditions of classical golf architecture in mind and made a course that champions the strategic player. Both the immaculately manicured greens and the wide fairways are well protected by bunkers on this course, making accuracy on the approach shot a priority. Water hazards come into play on three holes at Corte Bella Golf Club.

Delayed, overpriced, and rude towards non-members.
We were delayed over 45 minutes before our round, and treated like second class citizens because our group needed three carts. Ranger came around four to five times and kept reminding us of their rules, that they are a semi-private club, and that we were playing in between two groups of members. The ranger's fifth trip over to chat included reminding us again about the same rule of only two carts on the fairway at a time. This time however, only one cart had even been on the fairway. It was ridiculous! I finally told the ranger that we felt like he is picking on us and wiithout just cause. The only thing we did wrong was choose to play here. I think this place is really upset about having to be semi-private. Played TPC championship today and the course and staff were fabulous!
Player friendly
Well this is nice course overall! Greens are in great shape, course plays fast.
Tee boxes are emmaculant
Sand surrounding most greens meant an accurate shot is a must, generous fairways allows for small errors on the drive, and very fast and rolling greens meant you must have precise pace to score well. Great course and great value, will be back to shot low 80's next time!

LOTS OF SAND TO MAKE IT CHALLANGING
Enjoyed the course with all the sand. The greens were speedy and true. Lots of undulations to the greens. Fairways in great shape.
Very solid course. Interesting green complexes. Great pace of play.
Played here at 11:30 on a Sunday and had a very nice day. While Corte Bella is in Sun City West, this is a much more interesting course than other SCW or Sun City Grand courses.
Because it was built to be a private club, the holes have more trouble, there's more length and the greens are much more interesting than many places. Many of the greens have distinct sections. If you ball isn't in the same section as the hole, you may have a very challenging time avoiding a three-putt.
I thought the course conditions were good. Course is still a little soft out of overseed, but the greens ran at probably 10 on the stimp. When the fairways firm up, it will be really fun. Course can stretch to 7,000 yards and there is a nice combo set of tees that is part black (back) and part white tees (middle).
The golf course is a good value. I played in 3:55. And they let you walk if you like that. I do.

Private course open up to limited public play. Great conditions, interesting layout, tough but not too tough and tricky greens. Great Value under $50!!
Pristine condition, great value
Nice track, Very well kept. Accommodating staff. Some long par 4s make the course challenging.Greens were very true and a test. Lots of sand. Would certainly golf this course again!
Very Good Condition and Very Good Value!
It is difficult this time of year to find a "fair" deal for a course in the Valley. I try to play every weekend with my son, so cost is important but I am not interested in playing a "goat track". I thought this course was a very fair but interesting layout and the greens were in really good shape. The only complaint is that it is in a retirement community where many of the members choose to walk so the pace of play can be rather slow.
great time except for cart only but I do understand that after overseeding
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the greens were excellent for this time of year. Overall was great time even with cart only.
First class operation
The course was just reseeded, so it was cart path only. That slowed things down, but the entire staff was very attentive and the course was in excellent shape
Good course below average conditions at the time
This is a good layout that rewards good shots and has fair penalties for bad shots. Good sand. House lined fairways. Unfortunately, when we played, the Club had just killed the bermuda grass to prep for overseeding. Conditions were below average to poor. Wish we would have known this GolfNow!
This is a private club. They have a no shirt tail policy so be prepared (I was not). Nice practice facility. Nice club house with a freindly staff. I thought the shotgun start would be a problem. It was not. I will go back.
The course conditions were great!
This is the first time to play this course and the fairways and greens were in great shape. I enjoyed the challenge of the course and would play again.
Uninteresting
This course is uninteresting. All the holes look the same. The fairways were like rock. Greens decent. Would not go back.
Pre-Overseed.
Desert-style course with NO shade....a bit uncomfortable. Played during "Pre-Overseed" period, so fairways and greens were scalped.
