I like the layout!!
The Course is getting better needs way better maintenance around the greens 3 feet off of every green is all weed's rest of the course is in pretty good shape now if all golfer's would learn how to fix their ball marks the greens would be great!
A Pleasant Suprise
It has been maybe 2 years since our group has played the south course. We play the east course regularly. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the fairways in pretty good shape. The greens are much better than the greens on the east course, but they were slow. We'll be back.
Rough around the edges, but good layout
I played Grenelefe South Course. It's rough around the edges... cart paths in bad shape, the rough is a mess and clover invading the fairways, but the layout is pretty good. There is a good combination of doglegs, straight holes, long and short holes. The greens were in decent shape but pretty slow. For $30 including cart it is a good deal.
This course needs a lot of up keep
The course was a little run down from tee box to green. Pace of play was slow maybe it was just group in front of us. The green was slow. Hopefully they will do some up keeps to this course the layout is nice

The course is in horrible shape. Tee boxes bad, fairways bad , sand traps bad , but the greens were the worst. It needs a lot of Tlc . Wouldn’t go back and play for free
Great layout
Excellent course layout. Many of the greens, fairways and tee boxes were bare in spots. A couple of the greens were great. Overall, the “golf experience” was great.
Challenging Course
First time on the South course. Challenging but fun course to play. The greens are in great condition. The fairway grass was a little too long and really limited roll in the fairway. Not a long course since I played off the silver tees but there a premium on shot placement on this course with all the lakes and dog legs. I will play again.
Great course in great cond.
Played south a lot last year, and a few times so far this year. It's in very good cond. Fairways are beautiful and so are greens. Only bad part is pig damage near 7,9 and 10th holes. Never crowded here whether you play east or south
Hidden GEM.
Grenelefe us a great course!
The green speed aren't easy to pick up on, but they sure roll true!
Great course great layout great pace.
Nice Layout
This course is a great value for the green fee. Tee boxes were good, fairway was decent and greens rolled well.
The course is not the best manicured but for the cost it is well worth the round. Some patchy greens.
There was some good holes with a couple of great par threes, one over water was the highlight. The par five on the back was also a tricky hole with a double dog leg.
Course does need some work, probably some fertilizer and weed maintenance. But having said that it was an enjoyable course with some challenges and overall worth playing.
The layout was well thought out and enough difficulty to keep your focus on making good smart shots
I will play it again before returning back to Canada in two weeks.
Condition
The course is in great condition, some holes are very challenging but fair, It rained and all of a sudden the greens changed and got slower.
Went for a beer after the golf and hit happy hour 2 for 1 drinks.
A good day at Grenelefe on the South Course.
Wonderful course
Grew up hunting and fishing by this course. Played it today for the first time and it was in great shape. Luscious, green fairways and 17 of the 18 greens were in perfect condition.
