South at Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort

First time playing the course. Excellent value for the money. Would recommend.

Overall good condition on tees, fairways,and rough. Greens a little plush/slow, nice!

Greens are in great shape, although a little slow and fairways are green. This is an absolute lute bargain at this price.

The tee boxes were not in great shape. The fairways and greens were nice but the rough was solid weeds. Be careful or you will twist an ankle if in the rough. There are uneven lies and holes in the rough that you don’t see because the weeds are so high. Greens were in great shape but long and slow.

The South Course was much better than I expected after seeing images online. The images showed a very dry and brown course but the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in very good shape. The course had very good signage and was very easy to get around. There is just enough water to present a challenge. I will definitely go back.

Even though it was a lite rained till the 5th hole the south course was in very good shape. Played in 2.5 hours, as no one was on the course because of the weather. There was only 2 of us.

We enjoyed playing this course even though my husband had to quit playing because of an injury. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was a little slow. Attendant in the clubhouse was almost rude. Said he couldn’t check us in before 10 minutes before our tee time because we had booked on GolfNow. What does that have to do with anything? GolfNow golfer are second class citizens? Starter finally told us to tell the clubhouse attendant to give us a cart. Thought the clubhouse attendant was not very nice at all. Starter was very polite.

I had golfed this course 3-4 yrs ago..It is in much better shape now than then..Had a 4some in front that would not let me play thru...No sense of golf etiquette at all...But the day was beautiful and I was not shovellingt snow so even with the slower play, it was a great day to be out...

There were so many people on the south course that we played the easy course. They had a members outing. The east course was very nice. The fairways were good. The greens good. The pace of play was good. We saw one group that lets us play though never saw anybody until the 17 We had a great time. Love coming here.

Faraways are ruff in spots but you can find some grass, greens are big and in good shape.

The course is in okay condition but it is a superb layout that will challenge the better golfer playing from the appropriate tee box.

Course is in good shape for central Florida. Grass on fairways. Greens held and putted true, just a little slow. Traps need work.

All in all a nice layout and fun to play.

First, got there 1 hour early to get cart, hit balls and put. The pro shop wouldn't check me in said GolfNow people can't check in that early and to come back at 1:00PM. My tee time was 1:07PM! Told him I had a bad back and would appreciate it if I could get a cart since the parking lot, driving range and putting green were far apart. He said no.

The greens were 1/2 dead and course wasn't very well taken care of.

1st time playing this course, but by all accounts it has vastly improved over the last few years. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition and a credit to the green keeping staff. Would recommend and will play again
