Preserve Golf Course

The scorecard did not show the course layout...so we did not know if the green was to the left or right. In addition, hidden washes and arroyos sucked up our golf balls. Great course but terrible scores.

Course has been sold and will be turned over to homeowners in January. We live here and can tell you the course is in terrible shape. Greens are SLOW with many bare and brown areas. Fairways lack good turf and are brown or muddy. Of all the Tucson courses we play right now - this course is one of the worst in terms of conditioning. Not sure if all the damage is caused by insects, fungus or lack of water ... but in the last six years we have played it has NEVER been this bad. Good luck new owners!!

The greens keep getting slower each time I play there. It has now reached the point of no longer enjoying this great course. I am done with them until the greens get some speed. You shouldn't need a back swing with your putter.

Drove 35 minutes to play this course. There were no notations about condition of course. The cups have not been changed in a while they were ragged and caved in the greens were like putting on fly paper and were in poor shape and no grass to be found on fairways. Pace of play was good because no one else was playing. I thought this was a premium course but worse than any course I have played this year. I feel I should receive a refund it was not enjoyable.

This course has been managed by the original developer, Robson Properties. Their main business is selling and building the real estate around the course. The Saddlebrooke #2 HOA is purchasing the course along with Mountain View Course. This can't happen soon enough, as Robson has really let this course go the down hill. Too bad. Played it three years ago and it was awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the Preserve. Course layout was intriguing , the views were fantastic. Greens were smooth and firm. Miss the fairway and the course will penalize you. I'll be back!

This is a very beautiful golf course. The layout is excellent. Challenging but fair.

Every hole has a great view. If you do not like this golf course you need to find something else to do.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Course is always in good condition. This round was no acception. Highly recommended. Staff could be a little friendlier. I always feel like they are just there to take your money and get you out of the pro shop. Greens were a little slow but rolled great. Go play this course!

Awesome vistas. Very good layout, challenging but not punishing. Firm conditions, slow greens this time of year.

This is one of the poorest layouts I've ever seen. 5 Blind tee shots, several blind second shots and several arroyos crossing the fairways a couple of which you can't even SEE from the tee box or second shot. The only 5 star rating it gets is the value for the money. I'd bet VERY few people play this course twice. So they have to lower the price to get first timers to try it. I feel sorry for the people who live up here and are stuck with such a ridiculous golf course.

Course has nice views and good facilities but there are just too many blind shots. It looks like the course was just plopped down on the mountain foothills and that was it.

A thinking man's course. Nice views and elevation changes.

Beautiful course ! Somewhat challenging. Typical mountain course with uphill, sidehill lies. Too many holes in which carts are not allowed. Staff could be friendlier. Bring your own beverages and snacks. None provided to purchase.

Still one of our favorite courses in Tucson !
