Eco Golf Club
About
Located in Hollywood, Eco Golf Club boasts one of the most beautiful executive courses in south Florida. The course offers the challenging design features of a full-length course in a convenient nine-hole layout. It is the perfect option for golfers who don't have time for a full round but still want a challenging game. Accuracy will be greatly rewarded as well as the ability to putt to narrow, undulating greens. It is a great opportunity to get in some quality iron practice that you wouldn't be able to achieve at a driving range. Eco Golf Club is a greater challenge than most nine-hole courses and the fairways and greens stand up against most of the other courses in the area, including the championship courses. Some memorable holes are the fourth, a sharp dogleg, and the par-3 eighth, which is arguably the course's most difficult.

Nine hole course
This is a good place to tune up your irons. Will play here again.
Good priced course
If you don't have too much time but still want to play golf, then this course is perfect (I was playing alone and got two rounds in less than two hours - only waited short time by hole 9 both times).
Greens is right now in a bad shape (was much better when I played there in May) and the course doesn't have the best drainage, which made some swampy spots on the fairways.
But overall - for the price it's a good course for a quick round of golf.
Quick round
If you are looking to get a quick 9 holes in, then this is the course for you. It includes par 3s, 4s, and even has a par 5. The first hole is a par 3 just around 100 yards which is a perfect way to start since there is no driving range to warm up. All the par 3s seem to be different yardage, from 100yds to 175yds. The course isn't in the best shape...some brown out spots and spotchy greens. However, you get what you pay for.
VERY INEXPENSIVE, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
THIS IS NOT A FAIR REVIEW. IT HAD RAINED ALL NIGHT AND ADDITIONALLY THERE WERE FIRE ANT HILLS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND WEARING GOLF SANDALS, I STEPPED IN ONE APPROACHING THE TEE, SO I HAD BITES ALL OVER MY FEET BEFORE I EVEN REALIZED IT.
THE PUTTING GREENS WERE BUMPY, LOTS OF BARE PATCHS OVER THE COURSE AND THE SMELL FROM THE WATER TREATMENT FACILITY IN ADDITION TO EVERY BODY OF WATER BEING BROWN CONTRIBUTED TO THIS REVIEW. PRICE WAS GREAT, PEOPLE WERE NICE, AND IF I WANTED A CHEAP COURSE TO GET OUT ON AND LIVED CLOSE, I'D PLAY THIS AGAIN.
NOW THAT YOU ARE FORWARNED, YOU MAY ENJOY IT, BUT DON'T PAY A LOT
Always Fun!
We always have fun at Eco..
Staff always friendly...
Carol, Dan, Sharlane, Jeffrey!
Etc....
Thank you
Re: This course is green and plush
I would recommend this golf course to any one looking to play a great 9-hole course, at a great 9-hole price. I promise, you'll love Eco-Golf course!
Favorite Place to Practice
Work on short range game here or just get 9 holes in mid-day
Challenging Greens
This is a nice little course where you can work on your short game. Almost all the greens are in very good shape and provide quite a challenge with subtle breaks and sometimes difficult pin placements such as near the middle of the hourglass shaped green on #5
Decent course
It was an ok course, definitely worth the hot-deal price of $10 inc. cart for 9 holes. Don't know that I'd want to pay much more than that though.
fairways have an nice layouts and its an ascetically pleasing golf course
greens are in bad shape, they could use a lot of work.
Good Value
This is a 9 hole good value course. The greens need work as the grass is sparse at tee-offs and the greens are a bit dry.
Nice Course
We've been playing this course for several years now& keep coming back. Nice short course with many challenges. We enjoy the flora and the fauna. Nicely maintained. We'll be back
Poor location.
Great 9 hole course, however it's right next to a sewer treatment plant. Needless to say, the smell was awful.
good challenge!!!!
good place for short and accuracy's shots , friendly people.
Pretty course
A sweet little 9 holer. Pretty with small greens, which can be hard to hold.
A nice experience over all.
Great Value
After getting a new set of clubs I started playing golf again after several years.
I have played Eco about 7 or 8 times in the past 3 months and chose the course because it allows me to play a quick 9 holes after work and practice my game without spending a fortune.
In regards to course conditions, I don't have extremely high expectations (public course and I've never paid more than $18 to play there). Some of the greens are dried out with some weed patches (which is a great excuse for missing a 6ft putt, LOL). The fairways are in good condition, but can get pretty saturated after a days worth of rain (you are less than 1 mile from Atlantic Ocean, and probably 3 feet above the water table, what do you expect?).
The clubhouse is pretty simple, beers are priced reasonably, and the staff has always been very friendly.
Overall it is an enjoyable experience and I feel it's a great value.
Practice course
Good course for practice. Greens are in nice shape but slow. You can bite off as much as you want on the dog legs which allows you to change your approach shots... Overall an interesting layout.
Nice course for a tune up
I enjoy playing there because the layout is tight and challenges you to hit straight shots and use some strategy rather than just blasting away like a lot of S. Florida courses. Conditions are usually good and crowds are minimal. A good place to tune up your game.
One gets what one pays for!
Course in terrible shape! Greens in total disrepair, patched up and dried out. Fairways also patched up although cut somewhat. Tee boxes in total disrepair and also dried out.
This was a HOT DEAL from Golf Now and clearly not worth the deal. You get what you pay for!
