East at Orangebrook Country Club

Good round to start a trip to South Florida. Hadn’t picked up the clubs in a while, and it was a good way to dust off all the cobwebs in my game.

Visiting from NY and booked last minute. First & last time playing this course.

City of Hollywood should be ashamed to present this property as a golf course.

Should have realized the shape of the course when I entered the clubhouse. Literally thought it was ready for demolition.

The course itself was awful - tee boxes with very little grass, fairways full of weeds and bare spots and greens with more dirt than grass. I have never moved my ball so often to find a clean lie as I did here.

It’s a shame that the neglect is everywhere. Even the cost of $59 for cart & greens fee felt like a rip off. Play another course.

Course was in decent shape but the greens were really bad. Dead spots and dried dirt on them. Made putting a challenge.

Guys at the starter and bag drop are great. They help you out and get you out on time. However, I went to the counter to sign in and pay 40 minutes before my tee time. I was told to come back in 10 minutes, no apparent reason. No line at the desk, no big rush of people to sign in. Not the first time this has happened. Annoying but not enough to stop me from going back

Good value for the price. Greens could definitely use some work, same with several tee boxes. Both sides have nice layouts l. Overall for price not bad.

Only 1 tee box had grass on it, the rest might as well have been gravel pits. Ind t think anyone has maintained any of them in months or even moved them to allow grass to recover. A few creative holes, but for the most part, unchanging short straight par 4s. No frills, no maintenance or upgrades done in years. Staff was nice.

Good value on discount ? No longer sure

Compare to last year same period , it seems down... ( questionable maintenance of the course , fairways, greens, all far below average ) and friendliness of the staff questionable....

Not in the rush to return ....next year perhaps is some changes ...

GolfNow Hot Deal so good price. Layout is decent. Open fairways. Only 2 holes where you have to hit over water. Tee boxes rough shape and not level. Greens in decent shape overall, a couple rough but looks like they are working on them. Would not pay too much but would come back for a good price.

Staff was friendly and pace of play was great. The course was not in good shape. Greens were dried out and bumpy and very small. Traps need sand.

The course was in poor condition. Hopefully the maintenance will improve greatly, very greatly, for the new course to be developed.

I felt that the conduction of the.course is better than 2 months ago.

The fairways, rough and bunkers are perfect. The greens need to continue working.

I played the west course, the fairways are in good condition. The rough is not so deep so you can find your ball, mostly. The greens aren’t good looking but they play well. I’m going to play the east next week.
