East at Orangebrook Country Club
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

Haven’t visited Orangebrook since I moved out of the Hollywood area. After playing ~20 rounds further north, this course has held its value beautifully. It’s very well maintained, most holes are challenging, with several risk reward situations. The greens had some patches here and there, but nothing in play near the pins. The pace was fantastic. Almost nobody around on a Sunday morning. Felt like we had the course to ourselves for most of the round. Staff was friendly and clubhouse was stocked with everything one might need if they showed up I’ll equipped. We will be back soon!
Fun course and a great deal.
Not the most difficult but still a challenge for the average golfer.
Overnight rain did make the course wet with standing water on some of the fairways.
It was worth the price regardless.
the East course was close
the course was closed do to heavy and continue rain fall.
they remained closed all day to heavy rain
they refused to give a rain check, I had tried to contact
Golf Now for a refund to no avail, the recorder said you are no longer processing refunds over the phone
east course is a dump
most fairways were not playable! water up to our knees
Stop Double Booking
I’ve tried playing on the east course multiple weekends in a row just to show up and find out it’s closed and I’ll be teeing off on west.
This wouldn’t be an issue except for the fact that tons of golfers are also getting moved over which double books tee times and causes extremely slow pace of play.
Open up east or stop allowing people to book tee times on it! Makes no sense.
the East course was close
I signed up to play at the East course, but after I paid and got the cart I was told the East Course was close I had played on the East course many times and I am very familiar with it, The West Course was practically under water I was told no refunds or rain checks given, also we had to walk to look for the ball, the Fairway was practically under water.
I live in Miami and drive 22 miles to play at Orangebrook East course
Water management is poor
1. Poorly maintained.
2. Poor rain water management.
3. Cart path full of pot holes
4. Overall the course is in bad shape.
Not worth it
To be fair, this course had some glory in the 70’s. The only thing left is the nice layout. Burnt grass on fairways, tee boxes with full harvest weight mushrooms and invasive weeds on some greens. Pace of play was good and cart girl was easily spotted. Bottom line, there are many better courses so just drive the extra miles...
Beautiful course. The staff? Not so much.
Orangebrook is a decently maintained and challenging course unfortunately some of the staff members, particularly the cart return guys are not the most customer service oriented group.
These nimrods come over to your cart while youre obviously cleaning it out and getting your belongings together and just stand there with dumb looks on their faces.
Then you have the heavy set bald guy who instead of kindly reminding everyone to make sure they have their wallets and phones, etc. He's barking orders.
Does he not understand that we are paying customers?
I won't be playing this course again.
East course is awesome!
Great course for the money. In good conditions for a city course. The staff is super nice and always happy to help.
The group in front of us play really slow. At one point they had 3 open holes ahead of them. We called the pro shop for a ranger. Who fail to show up. Or never send anyone.
Awful upkeep. Rough is crab grass, just cut the grass and the clippings were all over the place inches high.
