The Club at Emerald Hills

Nice layout. Friendly staff though not having stiff rentals was odd. The course itself was in rough shape. Rain is one thing but the greens were abysmal. Random areas were not cut. Seemed like the staff gave up maintaining it. The clubhouse has also seen better days. Leaking ceilings and hanging smoke detectors created a rough presentation of the place.

Clubhouse is dated, staff very friendly, decent rental clubs, great food in the bar (buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious)…overall a really cool place for a round with friends and family!

Played this course for the first time today, I was recommended by multiple locals who I met on other courses. It may seem like an average course from other reviews and pictures. For me it is now one of my favourite courses in South Florida. The first hole and whole back 9 was cart path only which slowed the pace of play, but this was due to heavy rain over the days before. That’s doesn’t take away from the fact that this course is a great layout which is challenging and fun. Even though the fairways were damp, the greens were consistent and pretty fast. I’d 100% recommend this course especially considering the price

We are two players and we have to wait for 5 women that they were playing TOGETHER!!!!!! in the line front of us. Unacceptable!!!!!!

This is easily the worse course for the money in Broward. Mud everywhere. Drainage is horrible lakes and ponds encroaching on fairway on fairway bunkers.

Second cut might as well have been done with a weed wacker

If you are from Broward think Grand Palms if they only focused attention to the greens.

This is a $40-$60 course at best.

Staff was friendly and cart girl come around three times before we left on the 15th hole because a green side bunker had shallow sand and was filled with water.

Save your money seriously flamingo lakes or palm are is a much better value for the money.

Nice course. The GPS on the carts needs work. I got frustrated with cart that kept stalling out even though I was in the designated areas.

The course was in fairly good shape. The greens and fairways were very good. The tee boxes were a little chewed up. I enjoyed playing it. I definitely want to play it again.

There had been a lot of rain and conditions weren’t the best. Cary Path only .

First time played ...just after heavy rain, fairways were very wet, but greens were in good conditions. The course is really challenging in these conditions but probably more enjoyable during normal weather condition..

I will have to admit, I was a little skeptical booking a round at this course when I saw some of the recent reviews. However, the course proved to be very good. Upon arrival I was welcomed by a gentleman at the cart barn who was very helpful. Inside the pro shop, the young lady behind the register was very kind and offered me a free course pamphlet for all of the holes. The driving range leaves a little bit to be desired, as you must hit off mats and most of them are fairly dilapidated. All of the tee boxes were just OK. However, the fairways and greens were in very good condition. I learned that they had just aerated the greens, not long ago, and it appears they have healed very well. Pace of play on the front line was exceptional. I did run into a log jam on the back nine, but it wasn’t too bad. I still played in about 3 hours, so I cannot complain. I did have the pleasure of playing a few holes on the back nine with a very nice lady who works at the golf course. She could not be a more hospitable host and a great reflection of the course as a whole. I was informed that the course hired a new superintendent recently, and it appears he has put forth a lot of effort to get the course in shape. This is not a pristine resort course! But, if you want a good course at a great price, this is the place. I would absolutely play there again next time I am in town.
