Don't miss this while playing Photo submitted by mk8q16ophx6477363 on 08/11/2020
Fun layout in really good condition
Weather was perfect, low 60s into mid-70s with no wind. It has not rained for 2-3 weeks so fairways and rough are running out on every course I've played.
Played blue tees (6,500y) which are not very long in these dry conditions.
The layout is fun and interesting. I like courses where strategy off the tee is an option, not just grabbing driver and bombing it. This course has several holes with water and/or doglegs, where hitting it 220 is much safer than 275. Again, with it being dry I git 5i off 4-5 par 4s and had < 150y into those greens. The one hole (#6 maybe) where I did hit driver b/f I realized my options, I ended up going through the fairway and had to punch my approach shot.
The course seems walkable (I did not walk it) but not optimized for walking. i.e. It's not very hilly but you're looking at several longish walks from green to next tee.
Greens are on the fast side but not unfair. What I found challenging was so many spots where it looked there was subtle break in the green but putts wouldn't move. Maybe it was the pin positions but next time I play I'm assuming it's a straight putt unless the break is very obvious.
Great public course
Recently moved to Cincinnati area and this course is the best of the golf now courses I’ve played. Great layout and good condition. Appears that real effort is made to keep it maintained.
Great course but pace of play could have been monitored beyter
Nice course but expensive
We paid full price for our 10 year old since apparently junior rates end at noon.... which is a little much. $80 for a junior isn’t really an appropriate price.
Must play in South Ohio
Outstanding holes, each one beautiful and engaging. The conditions are great and the greens a receptive and good speed. The only minus and it is small the course is in no way walkable but I wasn't going to walk anyway but I do like a walkable routed course. I give this course a 10/10 easily. Do not miss a chance to play. Also a great value for the spectular holes you get to play. Especially 9 and 18. jaw dropping finishes
Amazing course
First time playing this course and it was absolutely amazing, the layout the staff, my wife and I had a great time!!!
Beautiful day. Played in 3 hours and 45 minutes. Cart path only was a bummer but was ultimately fine. Course is in great shape. Highly recommend to anyone who has not played the course.
Just not worth the money to play the course. Some greens had burnt patches rough was in need of mowing. Carts were in rough shape. The staff was very friendly. Hole 9 is cool with island green
Lovely round
I enjoy the challenging but fair layout of this course. Not too hilly compared to other courses in the area. Didn’t care for the gas powered cart when others had electric ones. Only other complaint is that there are no restrooms on the course, had to wait until the turn. But the course was in beautiful condition and a joy to play.
Great course. Highly recommend.
This was my third time playing Stonelick. While it's a bit of drive for me to get there, it never disappoints.
Beautiful course
Tremendous lay out. Course In great shape. I would say probably a 70 dollar course rather than 90 but overall a gorgeous track
