Good experience...
Friendly staff, easy check-in, nice driving range. Enjoyed the course and the beautiful day overall.
Very disappointed with Golf Now....Nice course, good value but...........
I had a situation where I had booked for three other guys that all backed out on me. I explained it to Golf now but they wouldn’t give me any refund for them. I ended up playing with a couple of local guys. I enjoyed the round and shot really well. But I won’t be booking with Golf Now again I felt like they should have given me a refund for the other golfers or at least offered bookings at a later date to give me some of my money back. They wouldn’t offer anything at all and acted like they didn’t care at all. Repeat...I won’t be booking with them again...

Course conditions
I was very surprised that the entire course was in such bad shape. However, they did sent out a letter informing players that the amount of rain was the cause of the poor conditions. I was thankful they sent the letter out as I was concerned the course had changed owners and the course was going downhill. Crosswinds has always been the best kept public course in Savannah, and I will give it month and I'll be back!

Over priced
Loads of bunker work yet nothing is marked as being ground under repair. divots everywhere don't think anyone fill divots EVER.........

Course was still a little wet. No standing water. Rain has been daily for some time. If your in the fairway you are good. Greens rolled good

Wet but fun
The day was very wet, but always a great course for a great deal, Pace of play was slow but that can be expected on a saturday. I still shot lights out.

Downhill Conditions
I've played Crosswinds for many years and have never seen it in such horrible condition. No grass on tee boxes, greens completely lost to disease, driving range shabby and bare. The shining star as always is the friendly staff. Its on my dont play list for awhile.

Pace of play
It was extremely frustrating round. I didn't even finish (I gave up after the 11th). The course was wet from previous days of rain and it was cart path only which I get and have no problem with that at all (I actually would have self-imposed remaining on the cart path to preserve the course and not get stuck!!). My issues are with the scheduling of a foursome that was playing in some sort of tournament. Apparently they were scheduled to tee off around 10. I played with a guy from Pittsburgh and our tee time was for 11:03. Things got slow on #2 and got worse. The previously mentioned group never yielded or even acknowledged their slow play. A marshall could have probably encouraged them to speed up play but there wasn't one. Three hours and twenty five minutes to play eleven holes is unacceptable. Cart path only or not. Just sayin' folks....

What happened?
This course used to be a nice one. The greens were in so so shape but the grounds themselves look raggedy! Trees cut down everywhere and left there. Not a pretty course any more. Tee boxes weren’t bad but I don’t think it was with $50 to play here. Probably won’t be back til I hear it’s better
