About
Surrounded by dense woodlands, Clover Valley Golf Club has a secluded parkland setting that also allows for some links-style holes. The course is relatively young but it has a much older feel to it. The versatile layout has an interesting mix of holes that appeals to a variety of different tastes and abilities. There are also four sets of tees that make it even more accommodating to a range of skill levels. The layout features gently rolling fairways that are lined with trees. They are rather generously sized though, which makes them more player-friendly. The medium-sized greens are also approachable with only slight undulations. There are several lakes as well as a creek that come into play on several holes. In addition to the golf course, Clover Valley also offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range with target greens, a large putting green, and a chipping area with greenside bunkers.

Nice Layout but horrific conditions
Loved the course layout. That's the only good/positive thing I can say, other than the Starter was very nice and the drink cart was around throughout the round.
The course was in horrific shape. Several greens were sand-covered, tee boxes with grass that was longer than the fairway and the sand traps - if you can call them that - were the worst I've seen on a golf course in years. On hole 2, there was more than a foot of murky, standing water inside of one of the bunkers. It was also filled with standing reeds and lily pads - I felt like I should have brought my fishing pole. I did not see one, single, bunker that you could have played out of.
For $60 a round, I would think they would make some capital improvements. We won't be back anytime soon and now I know why I was able to get a tee time later in the week for the upcoming weekend.

Nice layout, but poor maintenance.
Nice layout, but the tee boxes and greens weren’t in good shape. Lots of divots and burnt spots. Hard to get a putt with a true roll. Bunkers were hard and unkept. Fairways were okay, but need some work.

Rude
If you enjoy being talked down to like a child, then by all means play this course everyday. A simple sir the range is closed this morning we are cutting the grass would have been sufficient instead complete jerk about it. Trash all over the course and greens let go. Tear it down and build houses. Don’t waste a penny on this course. I won’t ever be back.

This course is NOT what it once was…sad
This has always been a very nice golf course, in great shape, well cared for, but not anymore. A lot like me, it’s let itself go. The only issue is that no one if paying $50 to play me anymore—ha!
We all love this course, but sadly will never be back. There was not sand in bunkers, greens had dead spots, tee boxes were all but destroyed and weeds were as prevalent as bent grass.
Do yourself a favor, leave this course to die and find any other place to play, at least I will have saved you your money and sadness.

If you want to walk it's total ripoff
No where does it say the price is the same if you walk or ride. $55 bucks to walk the course....I don't think so. Wasted 30 minutes driving out here for nothing. Don't make the same mistake I did if you like to walk your round. I won't be back until they get real.

They've let this course go
I played this course often before moving out of the area 5 years ago. I was surprised to see the course in such poor condition. Practice area was awful and the balls were covered in dirt, mud, and grass. It was nearly impossible to find a spot on the tee boxes where I could put both my feet and ball in grass at the same time. They have abandoned every bunker on the course. It's hard to find very many positive things to say about the place. Ownership should be embarrassed.

Great course
Pretty cheap for the area, great course with some challenges, bunkers were a little rough but staff was awesome. Shawn, who sent us off was awesome.

Declining course
I arrived a little behind schedule after I purchased a tee time on golf now. I will own that I wasn’t early but I’m also 41 years old and don’t need “a valuable life lesson” from an old man working the cash register slower than a turtle. He was abrasive and for lack of better term, a jerk and I was tempted to voice my displeasure of his attitude but I wanted to play. I struggled the first 3 holes because he had me very angry but then I got into my groove. Fairways and rough were good but the sandtraps were disgraceful. Standing water, rocks, weeds growing and they were simply unplayable. I hope this gets changed quick or else I won’t be a regular customer.

Decent
Greens aren’t bad, not a grain of sand on the course. Was nicer years ago when I played. Not bad condition for anyone shooting over 100. Not worth the price that we got. Hopefully it’s back in better shape in a couple years. Staff was very friendly

Good for $22
Love the course itself, greens in great shape, free drops out of bunkers though as none of the bunkers were kept at all…
Plenty of yard markers on sprinklers out in the fairways was nice.
