About
Surrounded by dense woodlands, Clover Valley Golf Club has a secluded parkland setting that also allows for some links-style holes. The course is relatively young but it has a much older feel to it. The versatile layout has an interesting mix of holes that appeals to a variety of different tastes and abilities. There are also four sets of tees that make it even more accommodating to a range of skill levels. The layout features gently rolling fairways that are lined with trees. They are rather generously sized though, which makes them more player-friendly. The medium-sized greens are also approachable with only slight undulations. There are several lakes as well as a creek that come into play on several holes. In addition to the golf course, Clover Valley also offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range with target greens, a large putting green, and a chipping area with greenside bunkers.

Great Value!!
First time playing and was impressed for Greater Columbus Area. 83 Blues. Played on a dry day. Blue Tee boxes were good. The tips require shaping left and right and clearly further back. Par 3 boxes kind of rough. Longer course, gives a lot of fun options for some of the longer par 4s and 5s. Complaint: No sand in bunkers
Plays well but could use some TLC
Clover Valley plays well, but the course could certainly use some TLC. Bunkers are not kept up with at all. Greens and fairways weren’t awful however. Rough wasn’t unruly either. Not a bad course by any means, but it’s not worth it’s full price. Take advantage of a hot deal vs paying full price and you will probably enjoy it more. I will play it again down the line, but it’s not a first choice.

Poorly maintained
Worst bunker health ive ever seen. Was horrible!! Literally no sand - not kidding. Dry, burned greens due to zero watering. They've just given up on maintenance. Not worthy of your coin - trust me!

Nice course out in the country
Played here yesterday and enjoyed the course, especially the layout. It was challenging but not too much to discourage you. Only issue was that they must be redoing all of the bunkers because they were full of dirt, rocks, and a ton of standing water. Other than that, nice course!

Decent if it was half the price.
I think the pace of play issue we had was the two groups in front of us not the courses fault. But they have more over grown and given up bunkers then anywhere I’ve seen charging this much. Pretty course with lots of potential. But not worth it for price.

Improving more and more
I have played clover valley many of times and it has been in really bad shape the past few years. You could tell they just gave up on it. Since when I played this course in the early summer it had improved very much ! The greens roll true and smooth now and the fairways actually have some roll when they’re dry. Apparently the have got a new greenskeeper that started sometime this summer the pro shop told me. A little bit of money and laborers for the bunker and some spraying this course would be back on the top where it belongs. It has the best layout of any course around and the potential to be really something special ! Workers are very friendly and the food and beverages are very good and reasonably priced. I love this course !

Overpriced
Course has potential but needs a lot of work. Sand traps are full of weeds, no ball washers on course, no water on course in 90 degree weather, play extraordinarily slow. Too may mulligans, slow play, golf etiquette is absent. For $5-7 more you can get all theses amenities and more elsewhere.

I’d hold off for a little while
I know we’ve had a lot of rain here lately but some portions of this course are unplayable. Several holes it was tough to find a patch of grass to stand on. Bunkers unplayable but that’s becoming the norm it seems. Couple greens were rough.

Terrible experience
This course is in TERRIBLE condition! Worst course I've played all year, decent layout out, but there condition. Missing grass on the greens, no sand in the bunkers, Tee boxes grass nearly as high as the rough if it even had grass. Pace of play was atrocious, over 4.5 hr round. All around terrible experience, will never play this course again.
