The Preserve Golf Club

To start on a positive note, the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. I also thought the course had a great layout, but it was hard to get beyond the conditions. The tee boxes was basically sandy dirt and weeds, plus the fairways were extremely thin. Greens were inconsistent. They need to lower their rates to compensate for their current situation.

The course was in horrible conditions. Weeds everywhere. Fairways not well kept. Muddy in spots and no rain recently. Pricey for the course. Would not recommend.

The course layout could be fun if the course were in better shape. It just appears they really make no effort to upkeep the course. Staff was very friendly but conditions were bad enough to make me not want to go back again. Wish I could say it was just the tee boxes or just one aspect of the course that was in bad shape but it was pretty much everything. Hopefully they start to pay attention because I can’t imagine anyone wanting to go back after playing it once.

Very poor fairways. Pace slow. $7 for a small range bucket? Greens fast but need work. Will not return with too many other choices available.

This course has a very cool layout and is at times enjoyable. All that aside the fact they have the audacity to charge $50-$70 throughout the day is insane because the conditions are terrible. This is at best a $30-$40 course. Nothing is maintained well and for the prices they Charge it should be. At the current rate to play here you would be better off taking your money to ANY other course and they would probably charge you less for a much better course.

The cart paths were poor, very little grass on fairways and greens struggling…..if improved would definitely return to play….

While these greens were not green they di roll fast and true. It was a good test for anyone working on there putting game. The fairways were a bit thin and hard to hit off. You do get a lot off roll in the fairway where dry.

The tee boxes and greens need attention. We got a hot deal so we could say it was acceptable. The course is not worth the full price they are asking.

We played the Preserve for the first time. We live just a few miles away and this course never seemed to be on our radar. The course is in great shape they haven’t done the typical over seeding for this time of year but it’s still in great shape. The greens are fast as heck and I’m great shape. The staff was awesome and the chicken salad was to die for. We definitely will be back and soon.

I have played the course many times before, but with a 4-5 gap between rounds on this property. Golf in the area is very competitive, with a broad choice of courses. This course, whilst on the cheaper end of the scale, has suffered from neglect. The Tee's were in awful condition, the greens had issues on the edges but ran true. The lack of a Ranger meant that pace was extremely slow. It's a shame as this was once a great alternative at a great price.

The pictures don’t do this course Justice. Conditions were terrible. No grass on tee boxes, roughs and fairways cut too short. It’sa dirt patch. Oh yeah, and they had the nerve to charge an extra 20.01 for my wife to ride along.

Don’t waste your money!

The tee boxes needed a lot of work. The fairways were fine. A couple of greens had dense sand on them putting traction on putts. Otherwise the greens were fine. The layout with perpetual water is always challenging. Numbers 9 and 10 are diabolical! I’ll be back for more!
