The Preserve Golf Club

We tried to play red (forward) tees but we’re very puzzled to find that not all holes had “forward” tees. It would have been nice to have been informed of this and notified as to which holes had the forward tees and which holes did not. Overall though, quite happy with course and efforts made to clean up the course as it has been at least three years since I played the Preserve.

Challenging course with water in play on every hole and many very tight fairways. I love a challenge but with barely any length of grass on fairways hitting quality wedge shots was made difficult at times. Many of the tee boxes were in sad condition lacking grass and not being level. With so many nicer courses in the area this is not a course I would have. Interest in playing again.

Challenging course. If you driver isn’t dead on leave it in your trunk. Water everywhere. Course was in good shape. Greens rolled nice. Bring extra golf balls.

We had a confirmation email for a 10:37 tee time. When we arrived at 10:20, there was a group of 12 guys all paying individually. At 10:30 at check in, I was told that we were late for our 10:30 tee time! I showed him the email on my phone for 10:37! Also, when I booked on-line, we were given a $55.00 rate…person behind counter would not budge…2 green fees with tax, $150.00! as a polite Canadian, I protested no further as there were others in line behind me….we had to hurry out to join another two some half way down the first fairway, To add insult to injury, the course is awful….almost all the tee boxes are dirt! We played here 2 years ago and it was okay, On our scale of 1 to, 10, it is a 5! Buyer beware….we will not return!

Played here couple of years ago but it has gone downhill. Not worth the price. Not very well cared for

Unique course and layout. Very challenging for a high handicap golfer. Course in decent shape. Staff is over the top awesome. Very friendly and helpful. I would play again.

Staff is always great. My biggest complaint is the fairways are cut too short/tight. Not all golfers, especially older golfers, can hit the ball first on each shot from the fairways. Scalding or chili dipping shots occurs too often because of tight lies. I have played courses in Sarasota/Venice area in better condition and for less money.

The course was in good condition (not great but good). Had overdressed the greens but they were still rolling very good. Had some fairly difficult holes but still a pleasure to play. Would play course again.
