Shell Point Golf Club

This is the best course in Fort Myers that I have played.

Booked on golf now Mobil app and it didn't have a note stating the front nine was closed. When I walked into the club house, there was a sign stating front nine closed. He stated they were running a $30 special but when he asked me about the golf now price it was $45, of course he charged me the higher price. I even asked in the pro shop why it wasn't on shell point website. She stated it was but stated I probably won't see it on their mobile site that shows current news. The course is also in a retirement community, yes there were older men playing that they believed they could hit from the back tees and I had 2 wait for the foursome to hit 3 times before I could tee off.

The front 9 were closed so we had to play the back 9 twice ... very good practise round :-)

Only back nine was open and had to play it twice.once front nine is open it will be better

Only critique would be that they need some adult beverage options!

Shell Point is always a fun and challenging course. The greens are always well maintained and fun.

No notice when booking the round they just punched. No notice they had a closed hole. Asked in their pro shop(trailer) about conditions and she just grunted. Very nice.

Very nice course. But they do not told us, that the course was under aerification und one hole was closed !
No reference at Golfnow ! Only the hot-deal price was OK.

Course in much better condition, and more challenging than I expected, Will definitely play there again.

Played from the tips and a few holes were pretty challenging. The best part about this course was its a players course. You just can't bang it around without getting in trouble. You can keep your driver in the bag a lot and play long irons off the tee to set up a good shot into the greens. There was some construction going on and one hole was closed. Also the greens were being worked on so they were a bit slow and still had a good amount of sand but overall they were fine considering the situation. I'm sure they are good outside of that. Overall a fun little course!

Aeration and sand slowed the greens down too much. Otherwise beautiful.

Nice course Even its a retirement Community! But the course is tricky to Play and was in Great Shape! Hole 13 was closed
But they offneres to Play any extra hole when we See an Open Space and it was Not loaded so it was nö Problem
To Play 17 and 18 twice! Nice and friendly Staff! When You Receiver the Chance to Play the course
I would recommend to do so. Bring something extra Balls äs watet is a Lot in Play.

I had a great day on the golf course. And will play it again with a friend.

Liked the course, the faiways were a little beat up, but the greens were in great shape. Lots of water.

What a great track! The best greens I have ever played on. If you are in the area check this one out.

Lotta blind shots. Not for the average everyday vacationer. No beer cart. Decent value for the money if you like target golf.

Fun course , requiring reasonably controlled tee shots. Most holes have trouble on both sides.

Although not one of your longer courses, the strategic positioning of water & trees makes the course quite a good challenge. Absolutely not every hole requires a driver, you need to know where you want to land. Condition of course was good, but the greens were a little slower than expected (although firm & in great shape)

Lots of water holes, but if can hit the ball "straight", no problem. If not, bring plenty of ammunition. Great golf course.
