Shell Point Golf Club

Nice course. Very fair and lots of choices for tees for a variety of abilities. Pro shop staff were very nice. Starters were not the friendliest folks however.

The course was in good condition and challenging enough even if you choose the white tee box of the the six totally. The staff were very helpfull and friendly.
The club house in itself was disappointing, just a small cottage!

We had played this course two years ago ,under cold windy conditions and found it to be extremely difficult.
This time the weather was warm and hardly any wind ,and we still found it to be quite a challenge.
Lots of water, tight fairways, and fast greens .
Missed fairways will cost you strokes.
Oddly we had forgotten the holes and had trouble with the yardage.
My GPS battery ran out ,which didn't help.
Overall, really liked it and would like to play it again while it is fresh in our mind.

Need to know course . First time players beware of water. Greens where nice course a little dried out . Lots on wildlife around. Saw 2 Bobcats.

overall a somewhat difficult course, narrow fairway with tight landing areas, some hidden hazards, greens in very good condition they all rolled extremely smooth, a short but challenging layout. definitely need to play it twice.

Use to belong here as a member. Greens went extremely downhill for several years, and I haven't played it in two years. They put $1,000,00 in new greens and they are now almost the best in Southwest Florida. Course was a little in wet in spots. Course is "dry" with no alcohol anywhere on the course or clubhouse.

Overall very good. Course in good shape, friendly staff.

Will definitely come back

Played the course many times. Looks like they've spent some money on course improvements. Greens were in good shape and the course played firm. Good par 3's on this course. Par5's too easy. Week hole 1 and 18, otherwise it's a fun course.

VERY CHALLENGING @ 6000 WTH MY TEE SHOT

ONCE THE TEE SHOT IS SAFE THEN YOU NEED TO TO PUTT

No food/beverage cart and snackshop closed at 2:30 and was long way from 9th green.

Course has tight Fairways and difficult lay up areas from the Gold Tees (where a 10 Hcp shoud be playing from).. Second time around the course would be better because you would know where to be ..or not to be..

This is a well laid out course, with some narrow shots and a lot of carry shots. The greens after the redo roll very true with a wonderful speed. The sand is good, fairways are pretty good and all in all a good course to play. It is a little over-priced, and if you get behind a slow group, which happens a lot, there won't be a marshal to speed up play. They are building a new club house, but until it's done they really don't offer much for the end of the round!

My first time at Shell Point and I will definitely be back on my next visit to Fort Myers. Beautifully landscaped with an abundance of wildlife to enjoy as I walked to my next shot. Course offered variable and challenging conditions for all abilities. Greens were impeccable and rolled true. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Don't is the golfing venue when visiting Fort Myers.

Played with my 12 year old son. Had a great time - beautiful course, but tricky with lots of bunkers and water. Watch out for gators in the gallery! Saw 2 throughout the day. Would definitely play here again.

Always like to play this course first when at Sanibel. Challenging but more open than the Dunes. Usually play it twice.

Nice golfing and the course is in pristine condition. We had fun and will be back.

Nice and well maintained golf course. Varied and somewhat challening. Unfortunately the pace was not good as we had a group of slow players in front of us and there was no ranger on duty.
