Davie Golf & Country Club

This is the second time since April we had gone to play a round. The staff are super nice and this should not reflect poorly on them. The pace of play was 3 hours, the reason it was so fast - the course is beat up. The greens are in shambles (April was bad as well) and the tee boxes had patches of uncut grass. They recently punched holes to help but each green was different and each one caused a problem. I stopped putting around the 7th hole.

If you want to work on your irons and not put - this would be the course for you.

There are several greens that need work, but the fairways are in good shape. Not an overly difficult course, but the price is really good.

even after aeration, greens are still in bad shape, needs help quickly. Be aware if want to play here in the near future.

A course just sitting in swamp. Every hole has massive amounts of water in play and every mishit is punished by it. Don’t worry about playing from the rough or a bunker or any other obstacle, this course is a 3 yard landing zone and water. Horrible time, horrible course. No reason to ever come here.

This coarse has an exceptional layout. The track is challenging and aesthetically appealing but the greens are horrible. It’s a shame that one of the golf mammoths has no interest in this hidden gem.

They aren't upkeeping this course, there were at least 4 greens that were half mud/dirt, and 4 with half new turf. We had to institute a 2 putt max on a few holes because they were in such bad shape.

Also they closed down the driving range which was disappointing.

The staff is great and friendly, the course is unforgiving with a good amount of difficulty. The greens are absolutely terrible. Almost unplayable. Unless they fix the greens, it’s not worth $50 a person.

The greens and fairways need alot of TLC. The greens were terrible and the fairways we not much better. The layout is good but the rangers are horrible they kept asking us to speedup but we were keeping up with the group in front of us our entire round not sure if I will ve back.

Recently moved back out to Florida and was excited to rip some out on the fairway! Though at this course fairway is more like a beach. Super sandy and unkept. I was playing a hole and the staff were checking out how abysmal the greens were as I was trying to hit the approach shot. They drove their cart all the way up on top of the green; no “carts this way” sign because who cares right?? The title to my review is accurate! Place smells like straight cow manure and I would know. Staff were polite and reasonable, however, it’s just not worth coming out. Try paying a few extra bucks for somewhere that has a greens keeper.

Price a lot more than use to and paid fees on top of paying there + taxe that was not mentioned nowhere.

Disc golf course seems abandoned. the greens are in the worst shape I’ve ever seen. No one cares.

What happened to this golf course? This course is terrible condition. The tee boxes and fairways are “okay” with plenty of dead spots on nearly every hole.

Every single green is in the worse condition greens I’ve ever seen in my life. They say they are “working” on fixing the golf course conditions…but does not look like they are treating the weeds on the green.

DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE…. Especially for $40

The course has a very nice design with challenging multi-level greens. Unfortunately the conditions of the greens and fairways are very poor. Greens are brown with many weeds and even craters. The staff are very professional and courteous. Davie should invest more money into the course.

Good course. Played twilight golf for 20 bucks. Didn’t see another person. Greens could use a lot of TLC.
