I was very dismayed at the horrible condition of this course. Every single green a waste land of dead grass, brown patches and earth with hardly any green grass. The fairways were in slightly better shape than the greens but still terrible.

This course should not be open for play and the management should warn golfers at the deplorable condition of the greens.

DO NOT PLAY HERE.

Also, although this place markets itself as the place of fun - the check guy in at the pro shop was decidedly grumpy.

Course could be very good with some TLC. We read the reviews about the "bad" greens so our expectations were low. The greens did look pretty bad but rolled better than most courses we have played in the area. We all agreed to play here again. It is the most challenging of the public courses we have played. Conditions were windy which made it even more difficult. The staff was very welcoming. Much nicer people than the other courses we have played.

Course layout is very nice blend of water, narrow fairways and small challenging greens. Greens are not in great shape on front 9 better back 9. Greens are small with multi-levels, fairways are ok, generally have slope to deal with. Not a course you can blast away need to shape your shots. Enjoyed the round of golf. /no amenities bare bones check in.

Apart from real problems with the state of the greens - this is one tough course. Which leads to the main problem: the pace of play is glacial. Simply put, the average 18+ handicap player cant play this course from the men’s tees. Too many balls in the drink - there is water on virtually every hole. Which leads to long delays as people search for their errant shots. And snowbirds only compound the problem: they are going to find that lost ball! Of course if someone got the message to them that “thar be alligators” in the water … maybe that’d speed things up.

I do not recommend playing here. Greens are in horrendous condition. You are putting on weeds and crabgrass all day long. After a few holes we counted everything inside of 5 ft as ‘good’ because conditions were so poor. Pace of play was decent because if you’ve played here once, it is very doubtful you will return. Do they even have a maintenance staff? Yikes!

Course is in pretty bad shape, especially greens which is a shame because it is a great layout with unique memorable holes and nice landscaping. Great potential here for someone to invest money and time. Staff were great and a good enough deal for the price I paid. Worth a shot just for a practice round. I would recommend course with the knowledge it wouldn’t be for a competitive round. Can’t say I would recommend it to a friend in a general sense.

Did not like the lay out of thr course. Many holes had carry over marsh land. (long carry). Lots of water.

shape of the greens could have been better ,nice staff

This course is in rough shape. Probably the worst greens I’ve ever played. Super bumpy and patchy all over the place. The staff were nice and friendly but this place needs some serious TLC.

Green were in poor shape. Random grass patches that made putting difficult. Played here in January 2022 and the course was in much better condition.
