I had played this course many times in previous years, but I never had seen it in this kind of shape. Photo submitted by photorick1010 on 07/25/2014

Golfer Reviews
Plenty of water to be had
My first time playing the course. Greens and tees were in pretty good shape - spotty weeds here and there but they were being treated so should hopefully be taken care of. The practice green is one of the smallest I've seen. Lots of traffic on the course so pace was less than desirable.
Course in terrible condition
Course was in terrible condition and the greens next to impossible to score. Not a god value for the money and wontt play again.
Greens very receptive
The greens are very quick but hold well. This made approaches easier and bunker shots better. Relatively difficult course withthe windy conditio s.
Reasonably priced course with interesting greens.
Too many groups put out on to the course without proper ranger oversight. What should have been an under 4 hour round (for a shorter course) was over 4.5 hours.
Average features
Greens are better than fair ways, good for the price
Challenging Course Design
Wow! What a great course design with lots of water and elevation changes. Challenging greens with a lot of undulations. Will definitely suggest to my friends and will be back.
Ohio snowbirds
You could see it was once a great course, but had fallen on hard times. Saw alot of places being worked on so you can tell they are trying hard to get this back from good to great. Very challenging with water everywhere and the greens rolled fast. Lots of undulations so you really need to check your lines and and landings on green.
Brutal Customer Service
Today's round was our third time in the last 4 weeks playing lovely Davie Golf and Country Club. Course layout it's nice. The conditions are Our Fair Very thin Fairways layout is nice and the customer service is very bad. I mean when you have to call the Pro Shop to ask if they can send the cart to drink Carl back out for a Gatorade Sixers. two spots in the entire course we can get water one is on the par-3 15th and the other one, who knows that water was almost out as it was Dripping into my River satisfied add to drink arthro to pull over to the T because there was people behind us and we were finishing up on the green. She said, okay. And thought you was turning around she ended up driving away. Never to be seen again. We probably never play Davie again. It's Jimmy other nice courses that value customers at their step is either burned out or train poorly but cannot recommend going there ever again. Thanks for listening to my rant!
Ok but..
Need to have course knowledge of the topo and its bent to the H2O!!
Good course
First time playing the course with two others. Had a hard time getting any help at first, but thanks to the friendly starter /cart kid , I felt much better. The course is average, if you’re a golf snob don’t come here. If you’re on vacation from up north and wanna play your first day somewhere that won’t break the bank, but still wanna hit driver, come here.
Play this course ...if you're there to have fun! Not with a beer or cigar!!!
Not the first time to play the course ... but today...all golfers played the course , ready golf! Not need a big cigar to play golf!!! Or 5 beers! Ready golf!!! The golf course was full!!
But a lot of real ready golfers!
ENJOY ...
Because this course is not for a cigar men!!!!
Funny greens. Challenging layouts!
Course in perfect condition!
I need no more!
Excellent Conditions - Poor Tee Time Structure
Have played here many times and this was the best conditions I have ever seen here. Nice fairway lies and greens rolled very nice. Showed up at 7:30 for my 8:30 tee time. Line was 7 deep and only 1 person at register but Randy did a great job and was as fast as he could possibly be. The problem started when we got to the starter. Easily 10 carts all gathered at first tee. Asked starter what was going on and he said "mens league...they start at 8:04, and doesnt matter if they have 5 or 20 guys, everyone just lines up to tee off". As a result we didnt tee of until after 9. Whole course had to be backed up for 30 - 45 minutes to accommodate so many mens league players. Seems like there should be a cut off for number of players or some way to restrict that. A twosome showed up at 8;45 and went right up to the tee ahead of us because they were part of the league. I must say, these guys played really quick once they got on the course but entire round started so late.
