Would have loved to play the course on a sunny day, unfortunately we played the last 10 holes in the pesky rain. Greens were great compared to the previous courses I recently played !

Service here is excellent. Course was not bad at all. Greens roll ok and the fairways are pretty good. Yes there are weeds but still pretty decent. I’ll go back.

played 18 holes in a little over 3 hours my friend Bob is 80 years old and he really enjoyed the course so thank you very much for being open to the public.

Course layout is great but in rough shape. Drains well and can play there after lots of rain with no soggy areas.

The greens were kind of rough and slow but overall we really enjoyed our round. We are from Michigan so it was good to be golfing in November.

I’ve played this course In 2019 when it was in pathetic condition. This yr it is much better and fairways not nearly as bad as other recent reviews indicated. Greens a little slow but we’re smooth and consistent. For the price it is worth the drive to play.

Played here multiple times over the years, course layout is great and has some holes with elevation changes (for Florida standards). Greens were in good shape and consistent throughout the course, just a little on the slow side. Fairways were not in good shape, there were dirt patches and weeds on a handful of holes. We just moved any fairway balls out of the dirt patches onto some grass. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would come back for sure as I enjoy the challenge of this course.

As previous reviewers have noted, fairways and tee boxes rough. in some places. Greens were very good and rolled true. Great layout. Teed off as a single at 7:15 and didn't see many golfers at all. Finished in 2 hours. pro-shop and cart guys were very nice and helpful. Seems open and easy but EVERY time I missed the fairway, I was behind a tree (very strategically placed) For the money not bad - greens make up for the tees and fairways. If they had some maintenance, could move to the head of the class with its layout

Greens...excellent! Teeboxes and fairways could definitely use some tlc, but it is tough to maintain central Florida courses.

It’s a Donald Ross course so the layout is nice. The course has tons of potential but needs a lot more attention to bring it back. Fairways had way too many bald patches, and greens were super slow. The course is laid out well and very fair, not overly tight from the tees. Not a very busy course in the afternoon so played in just over 3 hours. Staff were all super friendly, and valve for the price was very reasonable.

Very sad to see a Donald Ross in such horrible condition. Design is great, everything else is really really bad. Greens were spongy & slow. Fairways are burnt out all over the place. I hate a place were you hit good shots and get punished by course conditions. I would not return even if it was free!
