It’s hard to believe how much work they’ve done on this course from a couple months ago when I gave it the worst review ever keep up the good work guys the place has so much potential

Patchy fairways, T boxes chopped up, greens patchy mixed grass and dirt. Not horrible, but not great conditions.

This course is a great value for the price. You can usually get a round with a cart for ~$20-$30. The upkeep is okay, not great, but the course is in good shape for the price point. The design and layout are fun and challenging — which puts this course above average compared to those in its vicinity and value range. The staff and other folders are always kind, helpful, and pleasant. I’ve played this course a ton of firms and will continue to include it in my rotation because of the reasons I mentioned above. Check it out and support a local biz ran by people with good values 😃.

This place should be removed from this platform immediately! The course was unplayable, with no grass and all weeds. When I hit my driver in the middle of the fairway, I could not find it. There was no grass, all weeds and incredibly soft dirt!

Over seeded. Grass on tee box 4 inches long. Fairways needed mowed. Greens were ok, some bare spots. The price was right 31 dollars.

I played this course in the summertime. In my mind, at that time, this course was on its way to closing. The conditions were awful. No clubhouse available. Etc. I played the course this week and it was AMAZING. The course was overseeded and grew out wonderfully. The fairways are green and full and soft. The greens are slick AJ’s in great condition. This course has been rejuvenated and could contend with my favorite course in the area if these conditions become a norm.

Fairways were overseeded and not cut so the grass was very high. It was like playing in a rough all the time. It will probably be fine after they cut the grass.

Tee boxes need improving.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at Lake Wales. The course is well laid out. The greens are challenging (many are raised, most have significant undulation). Certainly, conditions could be better, but when you keep in mind the rates - this course is a great deal!

Rough is over grown but not impossible. Greens were in good shape.

Open, straight and manageable fairways! Straightforward golfing for beginner and intermediate golfers. Scratch players may find it boring! Shop staff were very helpful! Restaurant staff was incredibly cordial and good food at a reasonable price!

Don’t expect to play perfectly manicured fairways and greens for $25. It is exactly what you would expect for what you pay. I like the layout and play here when I want to get in 18 and not break the bank. They recently over-seeded so the fairways were super green. Would have been nice if they were mowed. At least this time around the rough was cut so you could find your ball if you missed the fairway by a foot. Tee boxes are always challenging. Got to search for a spot to set your ball that the grass isn’t taller then your tee. Would have been nice if they pulled the crab grass on the greens while they were closed. With the right management this could be a class A facility. Alas as it sits it’s a $25 course.
