South Course at Big Cypress Golf & Country Club

The greens are fast and true. The tee blocks are excellent and the fairways are in great shape. The greens superintendent has done a remarkable job with this layout and the owners have obviously supplied the required resources to allow the superintendent to do his job. Well done.

Need to put some seed on the Tee Boxes they are in poor shape ..overall there are a few courses around in better shape

The weather was perfect, 80* with little wind.

The course is in very good condition, the greens are fast and challenging. . (Maybe a bit too fast , a little intimidating if you're having a bad day on the greens.) There is a decent mix of holes from easy to difficult. The setting is relatively attractive if you like mobile homes. It's not like being "out in the country" but it is what it is. We enjoy the course and will return for sure. Not really a problem but the scene around the clubhouse is hectic and busy. The Golfnow Hot deal was a bargain.

One of my favorite courses in the Lakeland area. Considering it's December the greens were very good. Played as a threesome and on the day we played pace of play was outstanding. 18 in three hours, my idea of heaven.

Greens were in great shape. Good course for ladies with no force carry over 50 yds.

Very friendly and professional staff, a superb and beautiful layout, and near-perfect fairways and greens. This was our first time playing at Big Cypress; we definitely will return.

A really nice course. Bunkers, greens, fairways, pretty much everything. It has enough challenge for all and is a very friendly course for average to below average players. I E not a lot of forced carries and approaches to the greens are not over bunkers every time. The wife and I will definitely be back.

All conditions tee through green were very good. Nothing to complain about

Nice greens despite the unusual practice of placing the cups so close to the edges. Tight course that goes through neighborhoods of doublewides. No beverage cart service?

First, I loved this course. Great layout, well maintained, and clearly professionally managed. If I had to say anything negative at all it would be that I felt I needed a tetanus shot just sitting in the cart. Very old, haul butt though. Pace was a little slow but kept moving.

Course is in great shape. I was playing with s friend. Just two of us. We had a horrible foursome in front of us. Literally had to wait 10-15 minutes on each hole. Would have liked for the starter to come out and monitor this group. Other then that great course

1st time player @ GC and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The course is in great shape and the staff is very friendly. Probably had some members in front of me who took some time to let me, a single, play through but that has nothing to do with the course. Excuse me if I'm making an assumption that they may have been members but that has been a problem at times in the past. Golf etiquette shouldn't matter if you're a member or not. This course was a long ride for me & I had to finally figure out to put in Big Cypress Blvd. for my GPS to pick it up. It was worth the drive.

Golf Now said there was a 90 degree rule but when we got to the course it was cart path only! There should have been an update. The course was very wet

Besides the blazing afternoon heat, course played great! Layout is excellent/very fair to the 12-handicapper. Great experience from staff to play!

course got a lot of rain the day before cart path only it was wet but not that bad there doing some work on all the greens small and big squares cut out with the green sand filling it in for a Saturday it was wide open because it being wet no big issues I always like playing this course
