About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

The greens were fast but the course was soaking wet
Would play again
Course was a little soak from big storm the night before. Eventhough it was cart path only except for 2 holes, the course was in good condition to play. Completed the round in 4 hours 15 minutes while cart path only.
Nice Course
Course is a great layout and in pretty good condition. hard to believe that a golf course in Florida doesn’t have water and ice available… Oh wait, you can buy bottles in the pro shop or from the cart.
Turtles move faster!
Five hours and fifteen minutes! Now yesthey were kind enough to give a rain check but when I went to the pro shop to get it there was some rude guy behind the counter like the replay was coming out of his own pocket! Course was soaking wet and the gps system on the cart gave you no warning before it stopped! This course could be so great as the layout is excellent but the overall condition is poor! Kudos to the cart kids who at the end of my round went searching for my lost head cover!
Great Course
This remains one of my favorite courses in the area.
The course was in excellent shape despite all of the rain last week. A couple of rough spots but that was to be expected.
Greens rolled smooth and true. The pace of play was very good.
Great Course
Greens fairways were great condition. tee boxes could use a little work but overall they were fantastic. definitely would come back to play as soon as possible. Beautiful layout as well and the bar and grill was fantastic
Best in Tampa
Staff and pro shop are well equipped and super friendly. Got my clubs re-gripped and lots of ball selections. Layout is top notch, greens are really good and expect them to be spectacular after aeration. Best bang for your buck, bar none.

Course
I’ll be back to play another round. Course was a lot of fun and in good conditions. They punched the greens two weeks ago. Ended up giving me a discount for the round because of it. They are doing some course renovations on sand traps etc. looking forward to getting back out there
aerated
Greens were aerated a d golf now did not inform us of that. we had a reduced rate but fees should be refunded.yall need to do a enter job of course conditions like these. would never book on a course that has been aerated in previous 10 days.
Decent course but you’re better off walking.
The carts are the worst thing you could of done. The random group I paired with and I all agreed we will not return until the at the very least turn the gps crap way down. I get staying out of wet areas, greens, and tee boxes. But watching a marshal power sliding on a fairway was an absolute slap in the face.
Great condition
Best condition its been since I’ve been playing there. Greens had no dry spots. Very happy with it
Terrible Experience with Carts
Had great weather and the course was somewhat empty. The greens were in decent condition and so were the fairways, but the tee boxes were terrible. What made the experience really terrible were their new golf cart with GPS that kept stopping us from travelling in the most common sense areas. We constantly had to reverse the cart as the GPS would stop the cart, notify you they would disable in 5 second, and not show any range/position until you reversed the cart to the cart path or approve area.
Upgraded
Been a few years since my last round and pleasantly surprised by the upgrades and upkeep. Not overly challenging layout but we didn’t play from the tips. Overall great day of golf. Will be back
