About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

This course was in excellent shape people were very friendly. Would play there again in a heart beat.loved it
Overall solid course
Pretty good course. A lot of the greens are in rough shape though. Fairways were fine and course layout is pretty wide open. It’s a good time but there are courses in better shape in the area.
Would play again
Course was fair, if you miss you can quickly find yourself in trouble. Was a fun round, even though it was a little slow. Not due to course but rather the groupings in front not letting people through. Would 100% play again.
Plantation palms
Since we’re seniors this course was a little long from the white tees but we really enjoyed it. There were two greens that needed a little attention but other than that the course is fun and challenging. It has some longer forced carries which makes it a challenge playing the first time. We most definitely will play there again.
Good track for the money
Course is a great layout the greens have been impeccable honestly it’s a great track for the money for 40 bucks you’re not gonna find a better course in the area
Good Course / Fun Round
Overall, course is in good shape with a great layout. Front 9 Greens a little firm, but I imagine they'll have them in great shape soon. Back nine were excellent with a few sandy spots filling in well. Greens rolled rigid, too. Fairways filling in nice.
Heard this was a course that shut down for 7-8 years. The new ownership and staff seem to really care about making this course a great experience and you can see the hard work they’re putting into it.
Give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.

Course was in excellent condition and well maintained. Staff was friendly. A must play course.
Typical Ace Golf Course
As with the other Ace owned golf courses in the area, they put very little money and effort into the conditions. This course has a ton of potential but is maintained like a $10 executive course. The greens are bare sand and some even have gaping holes on them. The fairway grass is a cow pasture. Around the green it’s just chunky garbage.
Good course
Nice course. Greens were great, fairways need some care grass and water. Green are mostly elevated and need extra club to get it there. Would play again. Layout is very good and challenging most of the times.
Nice layout
Not what you would call a pristine course, but a course that requires shot placement on some holes.
Great staff, quality for public course
New to course - starter/ranger/cartgirl/front desk were all terrific & accommodating. Pace of play could have been better (Sunday 10:30 tee time) but I'll be back again. Greens were pretty quick, made it challenging but fun. Good condition, it did not disappoint.
Good day to golf
We were a threesome that got added an extra player. Game play was slow to pace. But weather and course were great. Fun course and will definitely be back.
