About
Plantation Palms Golf Club, designed by David Harman, provides every Tampa golfer with a challenging and rewarding golf experience. The links-style design starts with a welcoming par 5, and then slowly steps up with a mixture of strong par 3s. Just 10 minutes north of Tampa, this course was carved a 400-acre citrus grove that slopes from west to east, providing interesting elevation changes. Water is in play on 17 of 18 holes. Plantation Palms Golf Club has an attractive framing of greens by the use of pine trees, water and large snow-white sand traps. The true-rolling elevated greens have good movement and are a challenge for golfers.

Good day to golf
We were a threesome that got added an extra player. Game play was slow to pace. But weather and course were great. Fun course and will definitely be back.
Great value
EXCELLENT GREENS RUNNING AROUND 11 TO 12. HAD A GREAT TIME
Good Deal
Greens were fantastic overall. Overall course was in good shape, but could use some water. On course beverage cart not readily available. Great track and first time playing since re-opening. Great deal for the money. On it's way back to premium shape. Glad I played.
Getting better
Greens are fast and in great shape. Fairways are thin and hard pan lies in most places. Sand traps are mud pits. Fix those two things and this course will be back. It’s gotten a lot better but charging high green feed for the conditions aren’t going to get more people back out there. Definitely on the right track to 20 years ago.

Love this course
I really enjoyed playing this course. The layout is fantastic. Its been overseeded so a bit dry but coming back nicely. Greens were nice & fast. Definitely challenging. Will def play this one more often.
Loved this course
This course is a fantastic layout and though not at its peak yet as far as conditions, it is a great course to play. Greens were fast (which I love). Fairways are coming back and give it a little more time & this course will be fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

It’s Getting Closer
Course continues to improve. Greens were in really good shape. A few fairways still need some work or were wet. Negatives, partly due to Covid was lack of carts in having to wait close to 30 minutes for carts. Need on-course ranger for busy days to keep pace of play moving — 5-1/2 hour round is long and frustrating!!!
Fun Round
The course is in good shape. Greens moved fast and were in pretty good shape minus some spots here and there. Overall, always a fun round.
Slowest course in tampa bay
I have never played this course in under 5 hours. Today it took 6. Whoever manages the course just floods it with people stacking tee times. Worst pace of play ever. DO NOT PLAY HERE.
