About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Just OK
I feel like this course has potential. Was wet, was a little beat up...was a little slow.
Good shape
About a 4hr round at 9:30am on a Friday before Christmas. Slightly delayed start but moved along quickly. Course was in good shape. There are some wet spots from the massive amounts of rain West Palm Beach received in past weeks (one was clearly ground under repair as my ball plugged never to be found). Avoid those dark spots and it’s in good shape!

I was very pleasantly surprised!
I went there on a windy, cloudy Monday, but nonetheless, I was surprised at the beautiful views, and of course, that is in relatively good shape, and the greens kept their pace. It is a very nice track.

Enjoyable
Reasonably well maintained; all but one of the greens were in good shape. Cart paths were a bit bumpy at times; roughs were a bit weedy in places, but overall it was a fun course to play. Ladies in particular should find this an enjoyable course.

Not worth the high price
$40 for nine holes is crazy high for this place. At least I was able to skip a few players and joined a cool group. But the course should be charging $20 for 18 holes.

Decent
Greens were generally in good shaped (3 -4 need some care), as well as the fairways. With the intercostal as a backdrop, it made for a pleasant round. Finished in approximately four hours. Given the upcoming seasonal price escalation, it was pleasant and welcome break.

this course was extremely muddy and it hadn’t rained in days . doesn’t drain well at all. it’s on the intercoastal but there are no views due to trees. not in good condition. greens are very poor. i would not play this course again. i

Good Course
I enjoy playing this course, however today it was very wet and muddy.

The course is low lying along the intracoastal waterway. Unfortunately the course is becoming more and more saturated. Not pleasant to be honest. Balls are muddy, splashing mud and water at contact.
