About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Soaked, soggy and slow
Need drain title and drainage everywhere! Need roped off areas to allow course to heal and drain.. Greens were way too slow and bumpy. Nice location if they decided to make the course playable.

Average Course, good value
We are seasonal visitors to the area. I am a 13 handicapper. Course layout was good. Very wet course after a lot of rain. Poor drainage on fairways, but greens were dry. Very slow greens but in good shape. A lot of garbage along the tree line adjacent to the intracoastal. Very ugly. Attendants should spend some time keeping it clean. No practice facilities other than a putting green. No club cleaning after the round so no tipping. Golf carts have no GPS. By Florida standards, an average course but good value since decent courses cost a lot more. A great course is the Park in West Palm, but this is $220 for a visitor. Can't play that every day.
Great for money and muni course
The layout is confusing. Course is what you expect for a municipal course. Great value for the money. Staff is the best. No driving range
Still a bit wet
Course was still a bit wet and soft. Lots of mud on the ball on the tee shots. The fairways are green but they are still very thin meaning the ball is not really sitting on any vegetation so all lies are very tight on soft surface. Not ideal for my game as every shot leave a huge divot, and lots of mud on the club.
Muddy
Great course, greens rolled great. super wet season hindered the fairways from ever drying out causing the course to be pretty muddy in spots.
Sloppy overpriced course
Single digit index, palm beach resident. This course is more in line with $35 a round courses, way overpriced for the sloppy conditions. Mud in fairway, beat up greens and boxes. It’s been a wet winter, but this course is worse shape than all the rest, even worse that the super value tracks in the area.
Just OK
I feel like this course has potential. Was wet, was a little beat up...was a little slow.
Good shape
About a 4hr round at 9:30am on a Friday before Christmas. Slightly delayed start but moved along quickly. Course was in good shape. There are some wet spots from the massive amounts of rain West Palm Beach received in past weeks (one was clearly ground under repair as my ball plugged never to be found). Avoid those dark spots and it’s in good shape!
