About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Has Potential
Great course for beginners and golfers out for fun. When we played it was 2 days after course was flooded. The course should not have been open. Fairways and greens in terrible shape. We will, however give it another shot when dried out

wet conditions.. but, playable..
Good course for the money.. first hole (and a few other places) was quite soggy.. Rained quite a bit last week. 4 of us finished in 3 1/2 hours..

Beat up course
Being next to the waterway sounds nice but it's has taken a toll on this course. Also rate of play was ridiculously slow.

Old Florida
If you are looking for a fun place to play and dont expect the course to be perfect, this is for you. Not the best fairways or sand traps but the greens are decent and the scenery is great. Very nice staff

Poor conditions all around
First time playing this course, and it certainly doesn’t deserve the four-star rating. Putting on the practice screen was a preview to what to expect on the course. The greens were extremely slow and at times with any kind of length on an uphill putt, it was near impossible to get the ball to the hole. The fairways were passable, but the tea boxes were a mess. Play was slow with a 4 1/2+ hour round, waiting with three groups on every hole. At the turn, it took 10+ minutes in the bar to get a couple of Gatorades. There was no water, and no other options for beverages on the course on an 87degree day. This was just not enjoyable golf at all. I was hopeful, but very disappointed.

Good round
Overall good round, nice open layout. Tee boxes and fairways need some work but overall pretty good. Nice views of intercoastal.

Perfect Conditions; Best Value in Palm Beach County
This is my local course and I’ve played it a number of times. The conditions are currently perfect. And at these rates and pace it’s the best value play in Palm Beach County. Play before the snowbirds arrive.

Great conditions; great value
Course well formed. Long layout but accessible. Played on a busy Friday morning but never rushed or waited. Conditions were ideal. Pristine greens, true fairways and clean tee boxes.

Slow greens like carpet
muddy fairways , firm bunkers. 2 old guys didn’t let me play through with nobody in front of them. For the price I guess it’s ok if you are just trying to swing the stick. But this course defines the fact that Florida public golf isn’t that great. Only private clubs in south Florida or overpriced resort golf is good. Nice views of the inter coastal , nice breezes. Staff was fairly nice . Guy was kinda creepy thar washes the carts. Overall a 1.5 out of 5
