About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Good value
Good value, nice layout and friendly staff. Condition was somewhat soggy in the rough which caused the lack of cutting, ate a few of my balls. Was told high tide sometimes causes flooding,, otherwise enjoyed my round.

Course not playable
The course should have never been open for play. It was cart path only but there was no accessible way to most shots because of standing water. The tee boxes were fine. We were unable to get a refund because the course was open. So we played as many holes as we could, however; I don’t think it was fair to have the course open when it was really not playable.

Course was too wet
We had tee time at 11 am. At 11, there were two groups at 1st tee waiting to tee off before us. There was no rangers at the course, so the pace was very slow.
The course was super wet, even though it hadn't been raining that much. We had troubles to find balls on the muddy roughs - the grass was long and there was water everywhere. If we were informed about the course being wet, we wouldn't have played.

Furry greens. You’d be better off leaving your putter at home
For the price I guess you can’t really complain. I just don’t know how it has a good rating. Good course for people learning to play. Very wet, people don’t stay on the path and tear up the holes. Greens are the same cut as the fairways

Avoid this course at all cost it is poorly kept. I was actually surprised at a golf course, such as this even exist.

Huge improvement.
It has always been a fun course. Right now it's in particularly good shape. I do wish the greens were a bit faster. The greens roll true but the are considerably slower than a lot courses in the county. The service is EXCELLENT. GENUINELY nice and friendly people from the pro shop to the cart attendant.

A quick but relaxing round
This course is rarely bust on a weekday in the afternoon. It's a fun but challenging layout. There usually a breeze or wind coming off the intracoastal. I played alone and played in just under three hours. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. It's a good value too. I paid $23 through Golf Now. They have a summer special. You pay $30 to play 18 after noon. I will definitely continue to play here occasionally.
