About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,000 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Decent course, but pretty wet after rain.
Course does not drain well, so try to play when it has not rained. Staff were pleasant, course in decent shaoe. Getting something to eat at the turn as a bit of a challenge, no prepared sandwhichs, so unless you like hot dogs, you are out of luck. Nice that you can see the intercostal waterway from 3 or 4 holes, maybe more.
Overall, I would play it again since it was priced well at the time, and pace of play was decent.

Conditions are fairly poor but what do you expect for $42 very wet poor drainage and extremely slow play what do you expect of course town owned course so no Municipal employees care

Course was in fairly good shape given the amount of rain. Greens are need a lot of work. Need to be rolled and cut.

Pace of play was perfect- 3 hours 25 minutes / greens need to be a little bit quicker/ Tee boxes need a little more care

Slow Play
This was the slowest round I have ever played at Lake Worth. We waited on every hole. When I mentioned the extremely slow pace of play to the Marshall, he didn’t really care and did not offer to do anything to speed things up. A very disappointing response and a very disappointing round.
