About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Not any more
I have played this course over 100 times since 1985, not going back. Had slow, amateur players in front of us. Taking eight or nine swings to move the ball twenty yards. They did not have course etiquette to let us thru so we jumped ahead of them. I told the Ranger about it and his response was "Didn't you start out like that once?"
He did not even go back to the group to tell them to let faster players thru.

Great course friendly staff
Stumbled on this course and I’m glad I did. The course is mostly straight but challenging with a constant sea breeze. Greens are in good overall condition. Par 3 greens are small and elevated which makes them hard to land on from the tee. The staff is wonderful both in the pro shop and the restaurant. The bar has a very nice inclusive environment with mostly salsa and latin music playing which makes you feel you are in a very nice Caribbean club. I will recommend it.

Pretty views good restaurant
Course was in good shape and wide open . Restaurant is a nice addition to your round . No need to rush home or out to dinner ,prices reasonable and even better for happy hour

Fast round. Greens need work
Amazing price with golfnow app. Almost no one on course at 1:30 on a Thursday. Round took a little more than 3 hours. Greens are beat up though.

Well laid out with several challenging holes
Tough day on the greens as they had just punched them
But , my only real complaint/suggestion was there was no hole layouts
Nothing on the scorecard or hole markers to show the shape of the hole or if there was water or hazards
Other than shooting blind, the course was fairly nice

Nice course for an relaxing round
I have driven by this course a number of times and always thought I should give it a try and I finally decided to do so. Overall, it is a nice little municipal course. The staff was friendly, the layout was fair and some of the views of the intercostal are great. The afternoons in the summer usually bring some winds to add a bit of a challenge. The condition was pretty decent the greens are slow, I suspect its the type of grass and leaving them a bit long to keep the sun from burning them. If you want a place to go get in a pretty quick 18, that isn't overly challenging but makes you have to think about club selection this is a nice place. I have certainly played nicer places but for the $30 buck I paid it was a really solid little course.

Slow Play
Course was open and straight. Some water and sand, fairways were nice, but greens were a little rough. Pace of play on front was backed up, but back nine opened up as groups thinned. Overall it was a relaxing course to play.

Gray course for value!
Fun to play, not to hard and nice open fairways! The course was a little wet in some places but not that bad. Great views and great value for for your money!

Course should been delayed
My golf group and I had a bad experience playing at this course on this specific date. The course was extremely wet from rain and and some holes there was lots of water in the fairways. The course was golf cart only but there huge amounts of water on the cart paths and as soon as you stepped out of the cart. There were generators at the tee boxes trying to pump water out. In my opinion golf should not been played that morning and the very least should of have delayed a few hours because of the massive amounts of water located throughout the course. The course didn’t offer a refund or a credit to play on a different day due to the conditions of the course which was also unsatisfactory.
