Lake Worth Beach Golf Club

Great historic course with nice views of the intercostal waterway. Not extremely long as it is an old course.

Very enjoyable. Difficult to maintain as some holes get flooded from time to time with salted water.

The fairways are right now in great shape.

I played this course yesterday for the first time. The pro shop was small but Carmen was very friendly. The bar in the clubhouse served a nice chili dog (but didn't have a Powerade ZERO or a Gatorade ZERO (my favorite golf drinks).

The course is adjacent to the Florida Intercoastal waterway which adds a little breeze and some very ice views (the highlight of the course). The course was nice but a little dry. BUT ... most of the greens were a wreck and the tee boxes (admittedly not as important) were too. Pace of play was excellent _ rounded the course in 2.5 hours as a solo (all I saw were solos and duos on the course).

Will I return? Yes. Hopefully the course will be in better condition.

Your greens continue to attract a fungus causing brown patches, year after year. I play all over PBC no other course has worse greens.

I’ll start with the staff, each and every one of them are perfect, they’re all genuinely happy to see you and always up for a conversation.

The course is a wonderful little track with a good layout. It offers a few very challenging holes depending on the wind conditions. The bunkers are abundant and positioned in all the right places, some days I feel like I went to the beach instead of golf 😂 The fairways are well kept with some small exceptions, the greens for the most part are tricky and well maintained (I wish other golfers would repair their ball marks and two others), the water comes into play if you let it so over all it’s a great course!!!

I would like to see a few more ball washes and garbage pails out and around the course.

I haven’t stopped into the halfway house during or after so I can’t say anything about that.

But if you want to have a great time outdoors on a course that can challenge you as well as give you opportunities than this is it.

Awesome course, great value, staff are always friendly.

The moment you drive into this local gov't facility you are impressed with the Golf & Beach theme. Nice cart greeter. Especially eager to help, inform and get a chuckle out of us. Upon gazing from the first tee I could see this was going to be a good day. The course routing and hole layouts are subtle and clever all-around. The course is not easy, but not impossible. The turf conditions are outstanding. Alot of grass on fairways and greens. Rough is real rough. Greens are healthy. The grass on greens is somewhat high to keep them healthy through summer and roll slowly but very fair once we realized their speed. Some of the greens are smaller than what we are used to from more "resort" type courses we play. But t hese are fair and challenging. The bunkers came into play often. The quality of the sand in the traps is some of the finest and best I've seen, certainly even at double the price of the cost to play here. We stopped at the turn to get drinks and were impressed with the food and beverage service. We saw several platters come out of the kitchen and the burgers and sandwiches looked awesome. We were staring at diners plates out on the lovely patio on way back to our cart. Everyone in the dining area was having a good time eating, drinking and being merry. Sports on Big TV's. We definitely can't wait to come back here and enjoy the whole experience. Hope the prices don't get too high "in season".

A few holes really favor long ball hitters.

Lightning siren is very sensitive. There were no dark clouds in the sky so everyone just kept playing.

Not as good as many resorts courses but inexpensive rates makes it a good place to play. Nice layout and tees and traps were good. Some greens need some work.

Pace of play great, under 3 1/2 hours. Does need to have drinking water on course, or tell you up front that there is none.

Would play it again next time I’m in this area.

I had paid for 18 holes. But due to work on the back 9 we had to play the front twice. I wish Golf Now can get up to date information on things like that so we can know upfront what we are paying for. Just my opinion.

Every time I'm in the Lake Worth area and when I lived there I always look forward to playing LWGC.

I think it’s a really nice course, that Stays a little bit wet after the rain but there’s always a nice breeze, putting greens are challenging and the fairways are in good shape. As always Golf is too expensive lol!
