About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Decent Course for the Price
I hadn't played at Lake Worth for several years. It's a decent course for the price. Nice views of the intercostal waterway from several holes. The greens were OK, but the fairways were bare in many places. Also, the course seemed wet and muddy in many places even though there hasn't been much rain lately.
Classic
It's an old school Florida golf course. Layout was fun with some holes bordering the intercoastal. Conditions were good - fairways and greens nice although greens were a bit slow. Cart guy was excellent as was the fellow in the shop. Didn't finish our round before dark but getting out with my sons was very enjoyable. Didn't get a chance to check out the off-course amenities. Would play again.

Wet
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the greens were in very good shape. It is a nice routing with some very scenic views but the entire golf course was very wet although it had not rained in the three days prior, Due tom its conditions I think it is somewhat overpriced.

Muddy
I played this course on 12/24/2021. First I made tee time on 12/20 but couldn’t play because they canceled it due to heavy rain. Then I played 24th and the course is still muddy.

Amazing Customer Seevice
Best customer service I have received in a long time!
I had the early tee time at a course I had never visited. Immediately welcomed in the early AM by Dennis the starter/marshal. He welcomed me in the parking lot, gave up the cart he was using, and loaded my clubs!!! We chatted a bit and explained the course I was about to play. At the end of the round I said my thanks — he proceeded to wipe down my clubs as we spoke without any expectation. I believe his is genuinely a nice person that wants people to enjoy their experience. I saw him have these great tailored interactions with a number of people — many appear to be regulars.
Greens were in great shape and rolled true. I enjoyed putting on them.
The fairways were a bit wet from recent rains. But the course layout was an old one and enjoyable. This could be a great walking course! I saw many people doing just that.
Pace of place was moving very fast.
The people I got paired with were amazing! So were the others around us. Absolutely humble group of people.
They appear to have a decent restaurant but I didn’t use it. I heard it is nice. The club office was small with some standard items.
They had a nice practice putting green, but they do not have a range. Plan on some self stretching a loosening up. Come ready to play!!!
I am visiting the area — but, I will make this a go to place when I return to see family. Price to golf to pace make this a value proposition!!!!

Great historic golf course!
I am glad it was in the best condition I have seen in a long, long time. It is a very enjoyable course with splendid views of the intercostal. I am happy they are finally taking great care of it.

Course is in good condition
I have played at Lake Worth for decades. I can’t remember the greens being better shape!

First time playing
I enjoyed playing the Lake Worth Course. I was placed with three other players and they accepted me very graciously. The course was a bit muddy in places and it was a windy day. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my time on the course.
