About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Great challenge of golf. Great for long hitters. Soft greens.

Only bad thing was the cups. Ratty and torn up, pretty much every one

Excellent Facility with Outstanding Staff
Matt and his staff really do an outstanding job of making the golfing experience at the golf course a pleasant experience. They are professional, friendly, and display a willingness to help. Joe and his greens keeping staff maintain the course in an excellent condition.
Staff members of both the golf course and the restaurant are friendly, professional and display a desire to provide excellent customer service to all. The golf course views and layout are exceptional and the food served in the restaurant is delicious.
We are beyond happy to hear you enjoyed a great day at our course. Positive experiences make lifelong golfers. Great Layout
In absolutely terrible condition with the exception of the greens. Absolutely one of the great little gems in Florida that is in desperate need of attention
Its to the state that they need to close the course and install proper drainage and redo the entire facility

Gem on the ICW
It’s a gem worth visiting for two reasons; the staff is friendly and accommodating and the course is fun from any tee box. I love to play the forward tees which enables me to get a respectable score but at the same time be challenged. There are many opportunities for a birdie. I’ve always found the pace of play to be normal with very few waits. It’s just minutes from my home and minutes from the beach. Play 18 and then off to Bennies On the Beach!

The course is close to where we live. Great outside dining overlooking #1 t-box. And the intercostal facing palm beach.

Wonderful
It’s a wonderful course. Yes, it needs a little TLC, but it’s a jem. I didn’t use any of the practice facilities. Tee boxes to greens are in good shape. I didn’t end up in one trap (OMG!), but they looked a little like packed sand. But in their defense the region has been inundated recently with rain. The front fairways seemed to have a bent grass hybrid, and the were occasionally spotty. The back appeared to be all bermuda. The greens were all bermuda. If there was one downside it would be the greens are a little soft, even spongie. Some chips would never have held normal greens, but they did here. Putting speeds were a little inconsistent. But it never deterred from the round. Another thing I noticed was that the ocean and bay breezes definitely come into play. And the Southern Florida wildlife abounds. All in all l loved the course. Short but wonderful.

Lake Worth
I course was in getting condition than I thought with all the rain recently. The fairways were in good shape, the pace of play was good and the greens as the day went on became faster.

Municipal Golf Course Close to the water
Starter knows I’m on my own so he let me go out before big group. Got lost because I was not paying attention to the course sign and ended up playing 8 instead of 2. Seen a lot of people playing back 9 as well yet manage to finish round within 3 hours with minimal waiting time. Few Standing water on some fairways and bunkers after days of raining in the area but did not affect much of my play at that time.
