The Club at Venetian Bay

Booked through GolfNow and got a great price. The course was in great condition and it was challenging. I really enjoyed the GPS system in the cart that would provide great feedback of each hole. I liked that it was user friendly so I could use it to determine what yardage I needed to carry obstacles or hazards. I wasn't keen on it shutting me down without warning and having to back out of what was designated a "restricted area." But all in all it was a great experience and day of golf. I would definitely play this course again.

Greens were alot better..but still long and slow ..maybe because of the rain they cant cut it

Nice course. Finished round in 3 hours with no one till the back 9. Greens still showed remnants of recent sanding, still playable. All Bunkers flooded with water and need work.

Played today as a single. Finished in 3 hours. Course was in great condition. Staff was friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend and I will plays again.

Course layout and conditions were fantastic. For the value it’s hard to beat this place

This course has been so hit or miss (with mostly miss) over the past several years. The greens were historically bad regardless of the time of year. I learned that it was recently purchased and the course reflects a REAL commitment by the new owner to make this course one of the best in the area. The course has the layout to be there, but the greens are what are holding it back. Few, if any courses, this time of year have decent greens, but these still seem to be a little worse. Too bad because this is a fun and can be challenging course. Hate knocking it to 5 feet only to be left guessing if a good putt will wiggle through the bumpy and hairy greens and miss. I’m hopeful that, by next year, the new owner will have the greens where they need to be. I would play this course weekly if so and the layout would reasonably fetch it a higher price point than NSB or Cypress, (more in line with LPGA). They money they put into the range is demonstrable and appreciated. Now, let’s focus, with precision, on the greens.

This is the second time i’ve been to this course and let me tell you it is the best course i’ve ever played. Will gladly spend $60 a round on this course. Immaculate condition, Staff is very friendly, And the Twosome we were paired with were super cool too! Wonderful pace of place as well. 10/10 in my book. Love it

Tee boxes and fairways good per usual. Some bunkers are ponds and need work. Greens roll reasonably well, but can be bumpy in spots and hard to trust your read. The greens still need work, but are much better than they were a few months ago. Probably just needs continuous rain, which we've been lacking.

Course was in great condition but they allowed a 6-some to play (supposedly best ball but not really). Caught up to them on the 10th hole and they proceeded to play at a 2 hour 45 minute back (not too bad for 6 but it should not have been allowed). They must have spent a lot in the bar...

Only issue was the course let a group start on the back nine, just as we were making the turn, which slowed everything down.
