About
The Club at Venetian Bay is part of a unique residential community with a Mediterranean theme. Colorful buildings, mosaics, and Mediterranean vegetation surround the championship golf course. The biggest challenge for the designers was transforming what was formerly a cow pasture into a lush, challenging course. The design team of Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton seemed to have little trouble doing so. The front nine plays through the woods while the back nine is more open with a few links-style touches. The most prominent feature of this golf course is the abundance of sand bunkers. There are more than 100 strategically placed throughout. The bunkers present a formidable test but they are nicely balanced with ample landing areas. They are also geared more towards low handicappers, which means they aren't intended to kill your round.

Ventian Club
Really like the course. But the best part in August is...they put out a BIG cooler of ice which is GREATLY appreciated this time of year. THANKS!
Sandy Greens Should Have Been Disclosed When Booking
The sanded greens were awful. This information SHOULD have been disclosed when the reservation was made. If we had known we would have waited another week or two before playing. The greens were unplayable,

Excellent course conditions & helpful, friendly staff. I enjoy golf facilities that are close to the clubhouse. Parking, Pro Shop, range, tees are all right there. Great golfing experience!⛳️

Have a lot of greens with dead where you're putting through dirt also off the greens around the Fringe of the greens is all dirt course is not worth the price they charge got stuck behind a foursome that were members took us 3 hours to play nine holes they would not let us throw the members on this course have no golf etiquette
Best Course For The Money That I've Played Locally,
No surprises here. Just a good layout golf course in good shape.. I had reads a review that said the greens hadrecently been punched. They were a little bumpy but still very fair. As I checked in the staff was very friendly and appreciative that I came to play. It had the feel of a resort course but at a much better price. With just a few exceptions the course was in very good shape especially considering how hot it's been lately - it was 102 when I played. I stopped after to nine to cool off in the bar/restaurant and even though I only wanted to indulge in the a/c and get some water, the young lady behind the bar seemed most happy to help me. My overall experience was so favorable I came home and booked another t-time with them day after next.
Great deal
I played for $20 (don’t know why it was so low) and it was too good to pass up. The recently aerated greens were disappointing but I love the course! Rained in us at the 10th then it cooled off and was very comfortable to finish the round.

Great Day at Venetian Bay
Love playing this course. I also love tge improvements they are putting in, with the carts and the cart paths. The layout is challenging and brings out the best in all levels of Players. Staff is great and the clubhouse is exceptional.
A course I will always look to play.
