About
The Club at Venetian Bay is part of a unique residential community with a Mediterranean theme. Colorful buildings, mosaics, and Mediterranean vegetation surround the championship golf course. The biggest challenge for the designers was transforming what was formerly a cow pasture into a lush, challenging course. The design team of Clifton, Ezell, and Clifton seemed to have little trouble doing so. The front nine plays through the woods while the back nine is more open with a few links-style touches. The most prominent feature of this golf course is the abundance of sand bunkers. There are more than 100 strategically placed throughout. The bunkers present a formidable test but they are nicely balanced with ample landing areas. They are also geared more towards low handicappers, which means they aren't intended to kill your round.

Really enjoy this course
The course is apparently under new management. I have played this course twice in the last week. Again tomorrow. It's in the best shape I've seen it in years (I'm a snowbird). Only complaint, we're some of the tees aren't in great shape. Staff were great. Met one of the managers on the course the other day (Ben). Very professional.
TOP NOTCH CASHIER
Our ashier, Tom Shoemaker, was excellent. He made us feel very welcome to Venetian Bay. He made us happy that we chose this venue. All factors of Venetian Bay are excellent, including the 19th hole and the cart-girl out on the course. Thank you to all employees of this club.
Favorite Course on Our Trip To Florida
Great place to play. My wife and I loved the course and the staff from bag drop, pro shop, snack bar and restaurant were all super friendly and helpful. Try and play on Tuesday so you can stick around for their “Taco Tuesday” dinner. Definetly coming back.
We had a one o'clock t-time that was delayed due to multiple groups on the tee with similar t-times. The starter did his best but showed me the sheet with more than one group with the same times and the times scheduled at 5 minutes apart. Very slow round, many unhappy golfers...
Nice course!
Enjoyable course to play and very pleasant staff. We were paired with a very nice couple that were members, very helpful and friendly!
