Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Marsh/Creek Course

Excellent Conditions. Greens are in great shape and the course is meticulously maintained. The guys that work there are very friendly and the facility is awesome. Best bang for your buck in the area.

We haven't played this course in 2 years. It was great then and even better now! The entire course is in excellent shape. Nature at every turn. Beautifully landscaped. The staff was welcoming and cheerful.

Love the course, as well as their practice facility, which I believe is one of the best I’ve ever seen.. Tremendous layout and views, and tons of local wildlife..

Would play it again with my friends

I've played here for years. I have seen it in great shape in previous years but in 2023, it has not been good. Greens have been terribly slow, bumpy and some with no grass. The greens not only vary in difference from 9 to 9 but from hole to hole. The fairways are hit and miss with some good grass and others with no grass. Every time we play we have to play using lift, clean and place because it can be saturated from over watering. I will continue to play at Heron because of proximity but I really hope they get their act together with the condition of this once fine course.

I have read some of the ratings people have left and it makes wonder if some people even know what a nicely conditioned course is.

The employees are nice as well as the cart girls.

Have never been disappointed golfing at Heron Creek. The course is always in great condition, at a fair price with the Big Summer Card. We thoroughly enjoyed our round there. It was particularly special for me, getting a hole-in-one at the #3 hole on the Creek Course. We played the Marsh-Creek combo of the three 9's available. In addition to a fun golf course, Heron Creek also has an excellent practice facility that is included with the greens fee. The restaurant is also excellent, with lots of choices at a reasonable cost. I only wish the course was closer to where I live (it's about a 45 minute ride).

The corse condition was good. No way a 4.5 rating ! The greens are slow, no GPS many blind shots ! Most shots into green are blind ! You rarely will get a view of green on approach shots.

With three nines there always seems to be a problem at the turn. At this round we were approached by two rangers who told us we had to be at the turn by 2:10 , we arrived at 2:00 and found 4 foursomes and no rangers, we asked them we they were coming from and the said the stopped for lunch and were told to go to this nine? There seems to be a lot of rangers here but they don’t seem to do anything.
